At which line number is it highlighting?

Also, can you tell me if Totem runs or not? That's the table I used as my starting point so I could use the script. The only external thing I should have been using that was different would have been the Solar Ride ROM file, and as I noted, it runs fine on my end, so I'm wondering if somehow there's an external resource not in the right place.

And I've tried refreshing the download. Odds are good that it still needs to be reapproved, though, so please be patient.

Can't get the table to load. I made sure that I have the most up to date version of VPX as well as the most updated scripts, fonts etc. And I downloaded the ROM file that was linked with the table.

That's weird. I just went ahead and did the upgrade myself to 10.3.1, and it still loads fine. Do you have the gts1.vbs script file copied into the Tables folder as well as the Scripts folder?

Not sure if you are saying this or not, but .vbs files should only ever be in the Scripts folder (those for VP anyway).  If you have them anywhere else delete them, having multiple copies messes things up when they get out of sync.

I would think so, but it probably depends on what the game ROM expects for the coin switch.

It's line 93 'Controller.Run'

I've had trouble with other tables where 'Controller' has been the highlighted issue, so it apparently has to do with some file/folder.

Check to see if you have more than one copy of scripts.

Remove all your scripts that are in your table folder, and only have one copy of them in your Scipts folder. (As stated above by BorgDog.)

If that doesn't help then update your PinMAME to the latest 2.9.

Find here...http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11571

Simply copy the contents into your Visual Pinball folder and overwrite when asked. Then run Setup.exe to start the Installation. you may need to set up your defaults again also.

Hope this helps get rid of your controller error issue.

Got everything updated. I did forget one BIG thing, Table doesn't recognize the ROMset. I downloaded the one that was linked to for this table. VPMAME is the current one (2.9)

Still not recognizing the ROMs. I also made sure that the scripts were only in the scripts folder and I deleted the 'old' scripts before unzipping the current version of scripts.

Fixed the issue. Was checking VPMAME to see if the ROM files were recognized on the list. Discovered that VPMAME has it's own default paths and you have to change the paths to the ones that actually HAVE the files for VPMAME. :D

Dropbox is fine for betas ... when tables are released. IMO. We should make sure they get uploaded the normal way. However. I would suggest that the authors do upload to more than one site. There are a few alternatives around and at the moment those alternatives seems to be approving the uploads faster.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Thanks for the update jferio, nice table. Do you have DOF working fully, my coin, credit and flipper lights are lighting but no contactors or flashers are working.

Solar Ride doesn't use flashers of any sort that I know of. Outside of the inserts and whatever blinking bulbs I've installed in the real deal, the lighting is pretty much static. The one exception (which my build may or may not support) is killing the GI when the game is tilted.

As for the contactors, any DOF that's been added is thanks to arngrim, you might need to speak to him, but I can see hooks for flippers, ball release, and bumpers via the "DOFContactors" command in the script modifications he provided.

No worries i will have to dig a bit deeper, i am pretty sure the flippers had feedback on the first release.

Edit: Problem solved the solaride config in the DOFconfigtool had the entries for the older version in my private config so i just had to copy the new public settings across.

Probably could have just cleared them come to think of it.

I like the effect of when the ball goes back into the plunger lane, that the plunger compresses and decompresses when the ball hits it. :D
