Testing mp3 files.
Take a look at the Visual Pinball\mp3 folder and take note of some mp3 files, including a metallica mp3 file,
Open an new table in VP and press Play
Hit Esc and click on Debug Window
Click on the > Symbol, to open the debug window
Type in:
PlayMusic "filename.mp3"
and hit Enter. If you hear music, then you know the mp3 file is good. If not, it could be the mp3 file or your audio preferences or you Windows Volume Mixer setup...

So he should troubleshoot this issue on the alternative website

all i have ever used that for was to turn the sounds off , like when using a rom in an original.... so i guessed it could turn it on as well....
