sorry double post.

the POV will not fix this in DT mode.... its using the wrong cab wall primitive (Primitive52 on layer 2)
if its got you all worked up... I would delete it and just use walls and reangle the ramps being used for the rails... easy fix

It didn't get me "worked up". What makes you think it did? I just pointed out an issue on a VP table.

Maybe you're so new that you don't remember me. I was a co-author of about 80-100 VPM tables back in VP8 days. I always appreciated when people pointed out issues on my tables instead of getting... uhh.. "worked up". That way the tables really improved. I didn't get this kind of things personally at all. JPSalas always appreciates feedback too.

But I guess these days you should be very careful. In England you can't call black board  "Black board" anymore because it might offend people. It has to be called "chalk board" instead. Maybe the same philosophy should be followed here as well when commenting pinball tables, huh? If that's the case I'm willing to admit that I was wrong and the glass height on this generous gift is absolooooootely puurrrfect. And accept my humblest apologies. :D

LOL.... dude... what the hell are you talking about...LOL .... wait you think I'm being sensitive??... man we must have passed like ships in the night.... I am for sure the most insensitive person you could have picked to call sensitive ... I'm sure other will chime in on this.... as for builds i've been building for years now but i'm surely not going to flex my building muscles, that's not my MO

but anyway back to you pointing out something like 32A used the wrong walls is more then fine, you seemed a bit out of sorts with it... so I gave an honest answer and how to fix it.... most of us don't use DT... we have cabs... I build on a DT rig and test, but as for playing, use FS... the only time we really worry about the walls is if its a deep SS and the will be shown...

try to enjoy coming back to the hobby, go get a massage or just a back rub,you seem a bit tense... fella  ;)

No... you don't get it... I'm not tense at all.  People get offended these days way too easily... I mean generally... today's men might keep extra tampons in their handbags... just in case. :D

"It's a gift, don't criticize it and point out the nice things instead, etc." That's utter SHITE, especially when I said it's a nice table.

I'm serious... I want to help authors improve their tables. Sometimes that requires criticism. If you're not allowed to point out this kind of things without offending someone, nothing will ever get improved.

You'll get to know me. I'm not a bad guy... just a straight shooter with a rough sense of humor... have always been. :D

PS: That cabinet thing is very interesting. I've seen them and I know most of the HC guys have them. I'm still mainly interested in the desktop tables. Cheers.

this is one of my early vpx tables,  when I made it their was no primitive with leveled walls. I eventually made one and started to add it to all my tables.

I suggest you

delete the rails and primitive walls

download one of my most recent tables,

copy and past the primitive walls and rails from a proper size walls

the walls and rails from this table will work

I'm still a desktop player too :) I guess most of the actual authors play using cabinets, but I know a big % of people are still playing in their desktops.

Yes I agree. Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic are still mentally healthy countries. They appreciate traditional values and all that. And they have best looking women too. :D

Coincidentally, I just watched Escape From Alcatraz last night...

I'm listening closely because i'm modding this table right now. Never touched the glass hight. Is this something that can be changed (I don't say fixed because this table is already great) the easy way after table build?

It's not about being politically correct or being over sensitive...it's about not being an asshole. Someone has the nerve to suggest that you might want to temper your criticism with a little gratitude and you respond by flexing your dev credentials, issuing a non-apology, apology and posting memes about people being too sensitive when you just use that to justify being a horses ass.

Perhaps you should have used you vast dev knowledge to help him fix it and private msg the results instead of making yourself look bigger by making him look smaller.

What ever the case, don't be an ass. And don't use the excuse of over sensitivity to justify continuing to be an ass.

Oooooh.... I learned my lesson now. I feel so terrible... what I have done... I've been an asshole and greasier than Zorro's hat band. Does this mean I'm not going to be your dancing partner? I suppose the next thing you'll be telling me is that I'm not pretty enough and the prom dance is cancelled too? :D
