Thanks Unclewilly & GRONI for your answers. I guess once I am better at VP script I'll take a stab at modding the table and code to see if I can re-implement it. Thanks again for both of your hard work and dedication to VP.

This is as professional as it gets! I love it. The mood and atmosphere of this table, the small sounds and details, the lighting.. Everything is top notch!
Not only does it look great, but it plays great too! What a terrific release! Thanks for all your hard work.

One thing I noticed that you might want to change. When you nudge the ball w/ the nudge keys, the table shakes as if it is still setup for 4:3 mode. So nudging left/right makes the table move up/down. Nudging up makes the table appear to move to the right. I just went into the script and put an ' before the 'Start Shake' line and that removed the table shaking. That is what I prefer for the table to not shake in cabinet setup, but you preferences might differ!

Anyway, if you want to remove the table shakiness just search the script for the line ''Start Shake'' and then just put a single ' in front of it. The line will turn green meaning it is no longer being used. Then just compile the script and save the table and the shaking is gone.

I'm not sure how/if you can change it so the table would still shake but in the proper direction.

Interesting information, thanks.

Thanks to everyone that worked on this table. It looks brilliant.

I managed to get this table to work by disabling hardware acceleration in the table options. So, thank you for not protecting the table.

It's been about 3 years since I have used Visual Pinball and I must say the progress is unreal. I'm very impressed. So much that I had to upgrade my video card to play these VP9 tables with hardware acceleration selected. One simply question I have is this. I love this table and I have no complaints at all, but I'm curious if there is a non Night version FS? Thanks for any info. And thanks to the creators, this is amazing stuff. I've been avoiding my 360 and ps3 because of visual pinball. wink.gif

hey Brian, if you are looking for full screen versions, you can check out this list also, they are all fs most have been uploaded here but some have not made it to this site yet. it has links to the downloads and table information, and media packs if you use the hyperpin front end.

Seriously, your work is simply amazing. Words can't express how blown away I am with this. For the past few months I wanted to find a real life Twilight Zone to try and possibly buy, none locally were showing up so someone mentioned to check out visual pinball. Considering I haven't used VP in years I gave it a shot. Now I know I want to buy a TZ. I might be looking at one for sale tomorrow. I really hate to be a newb with another question, but can someone tell me the name of the script file I need to edit to change the DMD 90 degrees? I'll be able to edit the file no problem, but I don't seem to have a vbs file named TZ or anything close.

Thanks so much. I'll probably fool around with hyperpin next. I was originally playing 4:3 tables, but now I'm starting to look at the FS tables since it's easy to switch my monitor around.

to rotate the dmd for this table, find the table init, i think it's TZ_Init.
look for the do statement and just before the .run add a new line and place this code on that line:
.Games(RomName).Settings.Value("rol")=1

Unfortunately it turned the DMD 90 degrees like I hoped, but it's completely out of proportion. It's unreadable now. Any ideas?

Answer to my own question which may help others, worked great for me. Thanks to a post by Groni.

I had many issues with the resizing of the DMD.

This was my formula, that finally works.

1. Right click the DMD
2. choose "Show Window Border"
3. Resize it to your favorite Size
4. Move the DMD a little bit
5. Click "Show Window Border" again

The DMD should keep the Size. If you do not make Point 3, then the DMD jumps back to the size before you edit it.

Hope this helps

Dear Uncle!

Didnt know of this table until recently and managed to rotate it and tweak it ok
for 4:3. And seems fine.
Wouldnt it be nice to relase it for 4:3 as well? for all those poor cabless ones? smile.gif

If you have it all rotated and the table objects adjusted, feel free to release it. All my tables are free to mod. I just haven't had the time to do it. Too much on my plate right now.

I play this beauty every night... but can't for the life of me get the 3rd magnet to work during multiball.

I've enabled it in the menu, and use the home rom and also allow Vpinmame to initialise on startup. Yet the balls don't shoot onto the 3 magnets and then drop simultaneously as multiball begins, instead they kick out from behind the piano or just launch as normal.

Has anybody got this VP version to do the 3 magnet drop? If so please help me find out what I'm doing wrong.

Cheers all smile.gif

Does anyone have a version of this table that supports the Nanotech plunger? I tried to mod it myself (I was able to do all my other tables) but this one escapes me completely. Thanks in advance!

... and bump on the 3 magnet multiball drop if anyone has ever done it in VP?

Tried to to this again last week and fulfilled all the 4 criteria laid out on the net (enabled in rom, rom established whereabouts of the power ball i.e. charging/discharging powerball in gumball machine after rom init, 0 or 1 ball locked, no powerball in play. No joy sad.gif
