Most of the time, you just have to consider the source. A lot of different agendas throughout the years, most of it selfish. It's just how people have come to behave in recent years. Honor and respect are endangered species.

 

I'm not trying to make an argument for anyone... just saying there's no reason to ask why table authors have moved their tables to other sites, created new alternative websites, retired, etc... their complaints and protests have all already been recorded.

Which brings us full circle ...

 

I've yet to hear one valid reason to take from an open source, freeware community and not give back. It's at the top of the list of most heinous breaches of etiquette in this type of setting, only to be outdone by selling it.

Yeah... I guess if we are saying none of them have a good reason and nothing could have been done to prevent the exodus, then it doesn't matter anyway.  What good would it do to know if we were just going to say none of them had a valid reason?

Well, it has a lot to do with individual integrity. In some ways, to defend my own honor after all the baseless attacks over the years.

 

Nothing proves "Whatever they're accusing you of, they themselves are doing" like looking through the post history.
