At the last step...make sure you change it from tournament to normal...you do it with the flipper buttons....else it wont work! :)

Hi Bob,

try to reset the ROM (F3) and then add some coins (the default setting of the chutes 1 and 2 is 1/2 coin).

Then You can reset the ROM to factory default: "7" to enter the menu, then left flipper until "Game Adjustments", right flipper to select, then "1" to reset

After a reset You might want to set the Tournament question on Gamestart to Off in the ROM menu (Game adjustment 41 should be "Normal", cycle with "7").

Michael

Michael

I was able to do the reset and set the game adjustments, but I didn't see the setting for the (Tournament question on Gamestart) in any of the Game adjustments. Where is it located?

Will that setting turn off the need to hit the A key before starting the game?

Can you add the rightmagnasave button to also emulate the A key function?

Thanks for the table it looks and plays great.

Rich

Hi Rich,

there should be no need to press the "A" key. Please reset to factory defaults. The Tournament question can be set to Off in Game Adjustment no. 41. You have to select Game Adjustment and press "7"  until You reach option 41. This can be set using the flipper keys.

You can Change the variable Name in line 512 from "KeyUpperLeft" to "LeftMagnaSave" to achievethe A-Emulation on Your cab.

....and when you have changed the option 41 to "normal" with the flipper button, just press F3 to reset the game/rom!

Maybe someone can upload here the "reseted" .nv File ...

( Have no Problem with the Steps to Reset, but i am not at my Cab atm. ... just for other Peoples here )

If you have Troubles with the Configuration, just use one of this .nv Ram File ... -en for English and -de for German Language,

and -notnm with Option: "Tournament Off",

Note: delete -en(-notnm) or -de(-notnm), before you copy File in your nvram Folder.

Phew- Thought it was the beer-

Thing is I get glimpses of how it should be when I reset (F3). Then back to Green/red.

Hi dazzadasha,

reinstalling pinmame with different settings didn't help. If I set Monitor 2 as DMD default only a black DMD area is shown.

What graphics card do You have?

Michael

You Need a new vpinmame. The Green/Orange thing was a bug in The old versions.

Yeah cheers hmueck, but am running 2.5. If i start outside of Pinballx I can get different DMD colors vie F3 reset until I find one I like. but within Pinballx no can do- (I can edit the DMD but when I try to reset (F3) from within Pinballx I get errors and cant save.

Michael - ordinary really -GTX560- but robust enough so far.

Different colors when you restart vpinmame with F3 - that's the buggy version.
Try the vpinmame Alpha/Beta thread for the latest version.
