Ok guys. I'm getting some weird bug. When I hit the right flipper more a few time the table tilts. Is anyone else having this problem?

I have my right flipper in my cab set to 'x' Is there a way to change the script so the right flipper will not nudge the table.

Find these lines in the script...

If keycode = 45 Then LeftNudge 80, 2, 30:PlaySound "nudge_left"
If keycode = 52 Then RightNudge 280, 2, 30:PlaySound "nudge_right"

and comment them out by putting an apostrophe in front ( ' ) They should turn green.

That will take care of the strong nudge on both sides.

Another one of the "You play my table, play it with my keys" types of scriptos... It looks crisp and sharp JPSalas.

So glad you have friends who also love the Black Knight experience JP. This is THE table that put pinball back in competition with video games at the time. You've done a super job of capturing the quickness and ball flow of the original.

Not sure why Groni can't feel the magic in this Williams classic, guess you had to be there when this hit the arcades.
Amazing to have two great Ritchie tables released at the same time, a wonderful surprise.

So nice that you spoil us with these presents as you continue your Spiderman experiment. Thanks again.

Absolutely unbelievable! The top quality tables are coming out much faster than I can even play them! Superb!
I'm so glad I started up again with this pinball hobby a week ago. I always move from one compulsive hobby to the next...

I really picked a good time to come back. It's like an old gf I wronged and now we're back together and the sex is fantastic!

Hey everybody. Just a quick question, and if it doesn't belong here, I do apologize.
VP9 has been working great except for when I try to play a JP/Groni/or Scapino table. For some reason when it's preparing the table, I get an error message saying:

"Could not create offscreen surface" and sometimes it says "Could not create offscreen Z surface"

Has anyone else ever had this problem, or know what it means, and how to fix it?
I've ignored it before, and just played the VP8 versions of the games, but these recent releases (twilight zone and black knight and theater of magic) really make me want to get this working.

Thanks in advance!
Joe

Hi Joe,

Your post probably belongs more in the help thread. What I know is that it could be an Ati-card related problem (VP just doesn't like those cards much) and/or that it could be that you card can't handle the size of some textures that are used in a table. This has to do with texture memory on your card. It may also have to do with the "hardware acceleration"-setting in VP9, it's on by default but you can disable it (click on "options" in the left menu bar in the editor, then you'll find a tick box at the right of the editor). Remember to first save the table with the box unticked and then restart VP9. If you search for "CNCOS", you will find a couple of posts that deal with this problem and it's solutions. Hope this helps!

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

I can't remember is this in the real table, too?

I read the manual and I think that the real one has a bell and not a knocker, so maybe the knocker sound should not be there. But I guess only someone who has a real table will be able to tell us if the table has a knocker or not.

The real replay sound of BK is really the short bell ring.
