That's the best looking idol i've seen on an IJ recreation. it's sweet. I love that you added the flash underneath the idol also.
Would you be allright with a night modification of this table?

Hi Destruk and McD,

When I tried to play Destruk's version on my vista laptop it worked but stuttered (have yet to get the right settings or give up on that project). On my XP desktop (Nvidia card 7800 GT dual core limited edition 512MB, driver 190.38, 2GB internal memory and AMD 64 X2 4400+ dual-core processor) I get the error message "could not create offscreen surface". When I try McD's light version: no problem. When I disable hardware rendering on Destruk's version: I get it to run but with graphical errors (seem to be omissions), when I then recheck hardware rendering without leaving VP9, I get white surfaces where there should be graphics. Any idea where things go wrong? Myself I thought that I should be able to run Destruk's version without problems: no ATI cards here and I presume my system has enough specs to handle bigger textures/pictures.
Greetings Slam23

CNCOS comes up when your graphics card can not handle the large textures. Maybe reducing your resolution slightly does the trick.

Thanks for the advice, will try that, OR buy me a new shiny single GPU Nvidia card.... smile.gif I'm amazed though that my current card can't handle Destruk's textures because I have a mod installed for the game Oblivion that uses 4096*4096 textures.

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

Really? Weird. So even if I'm getting this error in editor mode, not when I'm even trying to play it, it's the same thing? I'd think it wouldn't stress the GPU in editor mode.

What the? I've never heard anything about CNCOS striking in editor mode. Sorry, but that has me stumped.

Yeah me too. It's only on my laptop, not my main gaming PC and it only happens on a few tables luckily. Loading it in editor mode, it comes up with "could not create texture offscreen surface" and then the entire program crashes immediately after.

When you change the hardware render setting in VP, you need to resave the table, then quit VP and reload it. When you can make six loop shots in a row, followed by 4 or 5 successive ramp shots consecutively, the ball moves plenty fast for me. The ramps are steep, so a less accurate shot will slow the ball down. Not sure what to say about the ball seeming to roll slow on its own. You can increase the slope and change the flippers if you like. For the Path of Adventure, you can search for the "modifier" variable to compensate for different table slope settings. I can have the ball change sides right before the extra ball hole, however, I haven't been able to directly after the pit hole, so I'm sure those settings could be improved a little more. UncleWilly - any mods of this table are ok with me. I tried to document a bunch of the script so people can understand what's going on there to reduce the likelyhood of someone really screwing the game up like the flipper sounds... wink.gif

Thanks for the advice on the CNCOS issue, will try that. I have compiled some of my thoughts on the table (which I'm thoroughly enjoying BTW!) but would like to get some more playing time under my belt before posting those. I have to "unlearn" some shots I was accustomed to with the 2.6r table, and relearn those within this shiny new one! I'll get back to this thread, great table Destruk!

I found out it was also a "HD rendering" issue, as the box was unchecked. I checked it & the table has found its color back !
