is Lord Hiryu still around? I would like to work on rob046 table mod of Black Rose but I think I would need Lord Hiryu's permission as well?

LW: you should send Lord Hiryu a PM and mention about this thread (in addition to Black Rose permission). He's always been cool about any MOD permissions I have asked so it would be nice to have his overall MOD permission as well.

Also I give full permission to use anything I have released (providing that the original creator of the MOD table has also given the permission here).

To clarify what has been posted here rgarding my tables, my table template is free to use. Do to it as you wish, as that was the intent.  There was an intended update and an FP one both unreleased, but I do not know if they still exist.

My tables are not free to mod at this time. However, if anybody wishes to convert any of my vp8 tables to vp9 or later, or to full screen, or to wizbang  yr2027 hollographic superpc, or whatever funky new technology we are using these days, they are free to do so and may state on the converted table that they did the conversion and thus take credit for their hard work, although I would request the credit for the table design remains with me.

If at a future time I change this decision, I will post in this thread. Given how much time I have not had for pinball in recent years, I have not had the opportunity to consider this. When I do, I will post any change here. If somebody wishes to mod one of my works, I will consider any request that is sent to me based on merit. Send via pm on this site or email etc (the site will email me anyway). Please allow a few days to respond. I would ask you to descibe what changes you intend to make. If you already did them, send it to me and I will gladly have a play and get back to you.

Also, there is free permission to upload any of my tables for any of the engines to this website for the enjoyment of all users of vpforums.org, particularly since PO is gone, and I may not have them all in my possession any more, provided they are attributed correctly of course. It saddens me to realise that my library of tables created may have been largely lost, but I do not have the time or the energy at this time to search for them. If you intend to upload elsewhere, please ask first.

Thank you all for your ongoing understanding and support, and I am thrilled to see this hobby and this place still thriving for newcomers and old hands alike. I hope to have a career change one day so I can get back to a more relaxed mode of existance, away from the annoying day job and thus have time between novels and family and the like to get back into this grand old game. I'll probably be so far behind the current standards by now it will need a few months study before I get back into table making!

Though I don't make tables I thought it worth mentioning that all the 3D models I make are free to use and modify as you please just give me credit for my work.  This is a big part of the reason why I started uploading them as packages to be available for everyone instead of just giving them to the current table author using them.   This way there wouldn't be any discrepancy about using them freely rather than if they had to be exported/ripped from a table people may think they would need the table authors permission as well.

Anyone know if Clovis Morato is still around anywhere? Emailed using the address in his FP tables, but no response and no bounce back (so I know at least the address is valid).

I might as well add myself here, just in case.  Anything I've ever done (mostly code) is freely usable.  Where as I don't care about credit, I'd prefer it if you didn't take credit for yourself if you used someone's else's work.  At the very least just say something like "Inspired by some one else's work."

Already well known but, what the hey.

All my "old" tables (available at IR Pinball) are free to mod or use for updating etc.

Be they VP or FP.

That is all.

Leon

Just to clarify, you created tables as Leo Wanker an Leon Spaulding, correct? You made a ton of tables! THANKS! I also see your name on a lot of IPDB pics, right?

That is correct.

(sorry for late reply)
