I looked for a thread like this and din't see any.

Rather than emailing me or sending me a PM or starting a thread asking for permission to mod something - maybe we can use this to list which authors and tables are free to mod or what terms are involved.

All the tables I actually worked on are free to mod if there are on vpforums.org

Please use this thread only to clarify that your tables are free to mod - anyone not signed on here should still be asked first before uploading a modified table.

Thanks!

Already well known but, what the hey.

All my "old" tables (available at IR Pinball) are free to mod or use for updating etc.

Be they VP or FP.

That is all.

All my tables I give permission to make fullscreen mods for. All other types of modding require my permission first.

Thanks, Authors!

I read elsewhere that Pacdude had given a blanket permission (I hate to call him out like this if that is wrong, I couldn't find it in a post by him). Are there other known authors who have given their permission but may not be active or might miss this thread?

I only released one table yet, another one will be released this  month. But I will continue ... So all my tables - the one that was released and all tables that will be relased in the future - are free to mod, no permission required.

Destruk maybe if you edit your first post to add all of the names of people that have allowed modding it would make it easier for others to find so we dont have to look thru the whole thread to try and find someone.. Just a thought :)

And I give permission for people to use anything I may upload..

True....and a post like that should be "sticky" somewhere, to make it's easy to find! :)

Anything in my tables that you find useful is free to use and/or mod. No credit necessary.

Also feel free to distribute my tables for free in any form you wish even in a torrent. I started this hobby from a downloaded torrent of old versions, so I don't see anything wrong with them. They eventually led me to the scene so what the heck. I know that torrents are a bad word here so this is just my opinion. The more people the merrier I believe.

I agree actually. If I hadn't gotten ahold of a super torrent filled with a Brazilian roms, I'd still be trying to figure this stuff out.

I don't agree with your avatar.

All my tables are free to mod as long as they are uploaded to this site. You also may use any graphics, sounds or script you may need for your own tables.

But I really should like that you do not mod my VP9 tables into VP10 tables when VP10 comes out. This because of the many changes that are needed and because of the wrong table size I used on most of my tables. But feel free to use any graphics or script you may need to build those future high quality VP10 tables :)

Just to clarify, you created tables as Leo Wanker an Leon Spaulding, correct? You made a ton of tables! THANKS! I also see your name on a lot of IPDB pics, right?
