If you use an industrial type velcro, not the fuzzy cloth kind
and clean and prep the places you adhere to to really good, it should work good.
If sticking the velcro to wood, you may want to first apply some epoxy to the wood
then when cured, sand it with a flat sanding block and some fine sand paper, so you get s smooth flat surface to adhere the velcro pad to
They do not stick to wood terribly good, but a smooth flat surface they do, which is what the epoxy will be
