Hallmann45: please download the nvram file availiable on this site and replace the one in Your pinmame/nvram folder.

Arngrim: I have two lights at the slingshots 66 (-->91) and 33 (-->12). I love those Bally manuals, the lamp numbers are completely wrong.

Regards

Michael

How would one get rid of ball trails?  now all my games have it.  don't care for them.  ?

+1.

I couldn't figure out if it was always there and I just started noticing or if they just started appearing.

I did just update to 9.2.1, so I assume it has something to do with that.  Is there a way to turn that trail off?

If you don't know what we're talking about, it looks similar to when televised Hockey games added a trail to the puck to make it easier for viewers to follow.

It's a setting you need to un-check in VP video preferences.

This happened to me as well someone helped me out with this info.

Ball trails managed in 2 places:

1) Global setting :  Go to Video Options and turn it off there

2) Table settings:  Open table, click on Options button on left.  On right side set Ball Trails option to:  -1 or 0    (-1 means use global setting, 0 means always off, 1 means always on)

Thanks for your help Vinthar, any idea how I can adjust the sound. I'm not hearing the table sounds and any adjustment I make to the music and table sounds in options seems to have no effect. I have ticked override global settings as well. I'm getting no ball rolling, flipper or other table sounds. I think I can very faintly hear the flippers. Cheers.

Though I haven't tried this table yet, usually Bally tables can have 'coin door opened' with "END" key then you can adjust volume with '8' and '9' keys.  I know this works with modern tables but I'm not sure if it will work 100% with older tables.  Hope this helps.

Thanks I have tried that with no luck. :-( Unplayable without the audio feedback of the table sounds.

Hi,

converting the desktop version I just realized, that I left the LampTimer deactivated from light positioning tests. To see the flasher effects, please activate the timer or download the new version.

I added some missing sound files too.

Regards

Michael

yes as i said, the slingshot solenoid are triggered when the ball touch the upper and lower part of the slingshot object, and not at the inner angle of it, where it is supposed to be, it is easily detectable with a dof and a contactor linked to the slingshot solenoid

i didn't check yet if you add the dof calls that i mentioned several posts ago

Arngrim, find the slingshot subs in the script and change them from leftslingshot_hit etc to leftskingshot_slingshot() etc. Check the pop eye table for the correct code as I'm not at my computer.

This is what's causing the entire slingshot walls to pulse the switch and not the actual face of the sling.

Hi arngrim,

I will add the DOF lines and upload a new version. I have a lot of work to do at the moment.

Dozer, thank You for pointing out the wrong event. I totally overlooked that.

Regards

Michael

I love it great work .... the only problem other than the slings not firing the DOF if it is hit in the middle is entering your initials for high score ... the flippers do not move the letters
Thanks for this table great work!

Hi Les73gTx,

never got that far - I will try to do so now.

Edit: You can use the Magna-Save keys that trigger the gates to change the letters. I will investigate this further.

Michael

I have no magna save keys on my cab ... so it would be nice to have it on the flippers like the rest of the tables I have .... thanks for looking into this ... your effort is appreciated
