Basically all games that feature more than 4 colors should show issues in general in VPinMame, this includes some of the Gottliebs too.

Yep, I can testify. I could not get colorization to work on Gottlieb's Stargate. Too bad. The DMD Extender settings on Pinside looked good.

They are using a hardware device designed for real life tables to replace broken displays and use LED monitors. The software for that device adds the ability to colorize the display. It is what inspired the adding of a colorization feature to VPinMAME.

if dmd rgb colors have more than PinMame but it is still a breakthrough

If i can finally get around and finalize some of the personal changes i did to VPM, then this would give the "real" levels for both SAM and GTS/AlvinG (i.e. 16 and 6 shades).

currently its real prototypish and basically hardwired to the settings/resolution i use on my cab.  :/

but maybe it will also be void anyhow as soon as VP will do the DMD/Segment rendering at some point and thus just grabbing the raw data from pinmame.

Regardless of how the rendering happens, including the extra shades would be really cool.

Seemed like at some point you were looking into modifying the VPM display rendering, HLSL bloom effects or something?

Thats exactly the point.. :/

I currently have my code hooked into all kinds of places, dumping the raw data before it enters the "normal" VPM gfx pipeline and render it my own way. So all this mess would need to be cleaned up massively, and currently i only have very little time (and the world cup won't help the next weeks ;)).

Hi Guys. I´ve installed the VPinMame.DLL Ver. 3.0 (Carbinet Mode). How can I setup to use these colorization effect on my 3rd screen? I see no option to change the color/grayscales at using the Setup.EXE for VPinMame. Thanks for your support.
