I really like the ROME table. Has just the perfect mix of animation and such.

My feet get sore fast from cab standing, so i can only go in small sessions :)

cheers,

Maceman

Get a good tall stool my friend :)

ha ha! your right!  I have a cheap ikea one that needs to go right to the curb.

I've been eyeing a few over the last couple months as they seem to be coming more popular.

I want a sturdy one with some bounce :)  I like the look of these, but with a higher back i think!

If you find one that is not too expensive and over 30 inches, let me know, most tall ones are less than 30 and IMHO are a little too short.

No need to have armrests while playing pinball... so these may work and they come up regularly on sale for $50 a pair, even though they are $75 right now:

I love FX2. My wife and I have a blast trying to beat each other's scores. I have all the tables now I plan to get the later releases. See my post on harware. As for all the graphic fluff, it's what makes it a new experience. This is computer simulated pinball. It's only a natural step to implement the new tech in such a way. Let others duplicate real tables. Zen is trying something new and different. Praise them for their creative accomplishments!

I also like fx2 a lot, have all tables unlocked on my xbox, but it's still not the same level as williams/bally/stern was/is..

But maybe this is also why fx2 is so commercially successful, as it's more video-gameish in general?

Yeah. With PinballFX2, it's more of a marathon as far as playing those tables goes. You have to make sure you have a few hours to spare in a day to play (I know that you can auto-save and continue on the tables, but that breaks continuity and you may be great one day and suck the next :D)

I could have been smart, but I never learned anything by being smart!

Its popular because its easy. My kids and wife love it and I really enjoy the tables myself. They look and play amazingly well.
