Hello swaffar,

you have the same problem as me. I am German and my English is not good. So I also use Google.
My problem are the special words that google can not translate.

I think it's very nice of you that you write to me in German.

Can I ask you what kind of a 7 inch DMD is that you use?

Best regards,

Frank

Hallo swaffar,

Frank

Hello friends,
here is my new drawing: A pinball-button with leaf switch.
The holder for the switch I have printed with my 3D printer because it was sold out in all stores

Frank

Thank you.

The 3D printer I built myself a year ago. For small components the printer works very fast. What takes the longest time is the drawing.

The build of a printer is no problem. You must decide what you want to build for.  There are many sides in the web for informations.

This is a very popular printer. I built this printer:   https://github.com/prusajr/PrusaMendel

Here is a great forum for 3D printers and more.

look here: http://www.reprap.or.../RepRap_Options

You can read 1000 and more hours for all informations. :throw:

I was reading 3 months before i begin the build for my printer.

A very good page:  http://www.thingiverse.com/

This is different. A self build printer can cost betwen 500 and 1000 euros.

You can also buy a finished printer. But make printer itself is more fun.

Look at youtube. There you will find 1000 videos about 3D printer. I could give you a few tips. Then you avoid beginner mistakes. :)

Can you explain how you plan to use the 3-button button?

I saw those available, and they look interesting. I just wasn't sure how to implement one in to my build.

The closest I could come up with was volume up, volume down, mute.

I do not know exactly for what function I will use the 3 way switch.

I have thought that it is very compact and therefore it installed.
With the two individual keys together I now have 5 different functions. I hope that's enough for now.

Two days ago I was able to make the first pinball games. Previously I had a big problem with the software. I always had 2 Pinball- pictures of the same on the Playfield monitor!
A nice user then has given me the correct tip which setting I must change.
I had accidentally turned on the 3D function. That was my big mistake!

Well actually everything works good and I can build the Cabinett ready.

I am really looking forward to have it all together in the case.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Best regards,
Frank

Hello friends,
in a few days my pinball machine is ready.

Today I have closed the backglass box. Now i can see the first time how all parts looked together.

The border around the playfield monitor is a little big, but that could not be avoided because the PC which is inside the cabinett is a liitle bit large.

I think with a metall siderail round the cabinett it looks better.  In the coming days, the pinball legs what a have ordered arrived here.

Then I can finally complete the cabinett and do a test match. I am really looking forward :yahoo:

Next comes a coat on the wood. I know not yet what color I should take.

Best regards,
Frank

I took the power for the LED DMD display directly from the PC. The connector comes from a RC model.

Hello Friends,

today is a good day. The legs for my pinball arrived today, so I could mount it.

Then I prepared the installation of Mot-Ion controller. I am very happy that it finally goes on.

I want to mount the Mot-Ion on special gel buffer.

I hope that this does not routed small vibrations to the Mot-Ion controller.
