@teppotee

The ball sometimes still gets stuck at the right ramp just under the rose

see here index.php?app=core&module=attach&section

And can you please fix this issue as well? ---->  "Hi guys was wondering if anyone has fixed the ball getting stuck in the mystery kick back?"

It is such a fun table to play.

Thanks.

Unfortunately I have zero time to work with VP for now and it will remain like that for quite a while.

Also I have no idea how to fix those issues... I haven't had the mystery kickback problem myself and only once the ball has gotten stuck under the ramp. Don't know how it got there... :)

If anyone has fixed these on their own version -> let me know and I can upload the updated version. I just don't think I can fix these now...

It's not under the ramp, it's on the ramp.

I shot the ball up the ramp.

I decided to give this a quick look and realized that I had a new version of this table on my hard drive that I had done some time ago. It's mainly GI and physics update but I also added a solid ramp to the red ramp entrance to hopefully fix this "ball stuck on/under ramp problem". My guess is that sometimes the ball just went through the alpha ramp when an alpha flasher was going on at the same time. Just a guess but let's see if it's fixed now.

No idea about the mystery issue. Not able to reproduce that one.

Anyway... just uploaded a new 2.0 version of this table. This will probably be my last version. I see that there is a PF redraw being made and I hope that at some point this table will be rebuild from scratch!

Ok... then I have no idea how to fix it... I guess it seems to go through the ramp still even with the solid ramps.

Did you notice if it goes straight there or when coming down the ramp? Like I said... this has happened to me only once so I can't be sure how it happens.

Ok... found one thread about this issue and apparently different alpha slider settings can give different results with ramps on different setups. The solution should be to make the alpha ramps NON collidable and the solid ramps collidable. In 2.0 version I had the alpha ramps still set to collidable... so this is the last thing I can think of. I will re-upload the file in few mins with new ramp settings and hope for the best...

EDIT: Uploaded version 2.1. Give it a try and report back. I really hope it's working now.

So far so good. Played a couple of games and no stuck ball on the right ramp.

The "other issue" the ball getting stuck in the mystery kick back, is still there.

I got a multiball. At the end lost all balls but the music still keeps playing because the ball stuck in the mystery kick back was still in play.

At a given moment switches were on and off but no ball got free.

So only thing for me to do was tilt the game :(

Sorry, found another bug.

Sometimes the Captive Ball disappears. I didn't see it anywhere.

Ok it's hard to see, but I finally found out where it is.

Yeah... that captive ball can get stuck sometimes. Nudging should free it though. Luckily not a showstopper.

Unfortunately I just had the "mystery kickback" bug as well and that's a showstopper. I will try to take a look but so far I have no idea what's causing it. Even "locating balls" doesn't fix it...

I changed wall37 top height to 35, bottom height to -1 for more than 5 captive ball hits, the captive ball did not get stuck.

I don't know if this makes any sense?

Just uploaded 2.2. Hopefully fixing the mystery kickback bug.

Please let me know if it works now...

Haven't checked the captive ball. Maybe later but for now I just want to fix the mystery bug as it can be a game breaker during multiball.

Thanks for the continued work on this table.  It really is a fun table, very sad that you won't be continuing your great work of table mods.  Thanks again

Thank you very much for the mod!

I've been playing for a while and everything seems to work fine but the lights of the guitar features; once you finish a mission, the light doesn't show like it's done.

Thanks again, great job!

Thanks a lot for the update teppotee.

I have some graphic glitches on the right area between the VUK and the white flasher (with the official VP9.2), and was wondering if other people had the same problem.
