QUOTE (Blackmoor @ Sep 26 2011, 05:01 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hello rosve!

Wanted to say thank you for all your work with B2S! I'm enjoying Scared Stiff and Bad Cats like never before!

I am having a strange issue with the Space 1999 table. I've installed the table per the instructions, however I see no animations in the DMD display. The game runs and plays fine, the backglass is on the proper monitor, I see the text for 'Ball in Play" at bottom of DMD window and it changes from ball to ball. However all I see is an empty orange matrix! I took the B2S.exe from the WS table and renamed it and I do see the animations, however the backglass image only fills a small amount of the backglass monitor. Any ideas?

Blackmoor

I'm having the same issue -- everything works perfectly except no DMD appears.

I minimized max textures and turned off hardware rendering to see if it was video memory but it isn't -- no change.

The WS version works fine -- nice table! Is there lft/rt nudging? It appeared to have no effect on the WS version.

This is the only B2S (and I have DL'ed all of them) that I can't get to work. It shows what a solid program you have developed.

Thanks for all your great B2S and other work!

I tried this one out today, nice table, but I also have a blank orange score display. I have a 1 GB graphic card and only 1 gb ram.

I started up this table a couple of minutes ago and... Ehhh.... I to have a blank DMD.

I must have slipped on the keyboard when I last updated the backglass code and managed to comment out the DMDinit routine.

I'll upload it again in a minute.

Thanks Rosve, it works great now!

Very impressive work on the DMD. The gameplay is fantastic, I really like the layout and the ball flow. The game is a lot of fun.

Great job.

Thanks for the update. This really is a great original - the music works really well with the fast paced gameplay.

I can only load this up in v9.11 but cannot get it to run. It always makes VP crash. It will not even load in any other version of VP9.x without crashing VP. Can the author please help me as I love Space 1999. It was my fav show of the 80's! - Also please please please do a Future Pinball version!
(Same with both versions of the table)
Thanks

(Using Win 7 starter, 2gb Ram, tried both run as Administrator, XP (Service pack 3) compatibility mode & normal)

Revisited this table a couple of times today. Fantastic original! The DMD looks very good 'real pinball quality', would love to see that on more originals. The table plays very well, is fun and challenging (I like that).
Great job.

Scoring seems to be messed up. Even during a game the scoring seems to change without any good reason and after a game the highscore (or latest score) doesn't match.

Am I the only one with this problem?

I think that the high score isn't always displayed correctlly but I have never seen it "change the score without reason during the game".

I haven't had time to fix the highscore yet. I might look into it later on.

BTW, I'm glad you like the table, I did put a lot of work into it. The tune that is played during the third ball (pace 1999) is really great, it's made by Wiggly, one of the great artists on there forums.

Yes, it almost doubled and then switched back again. It happened in the special area (a couple of times).

It is truly one of the best originals but not having a working highscore system does take the fun out of it in the long run.

OK, I found the bug that was messing up the score,
Replace the old AddScore routine with this,
Sub AddScore (ByVal ScoreToAdd)
    Score(ActivePlayer)=Score(ActivePlayer)+(ScoreToAdd* (Mem(17)+1))
    SendScore Score(ActivePlayer)
End Sub
