Worked on a WS version tonight, I had to remove the plunger as VP crashed almost every time I hit play. It looks like I need some shadows on the table. I have to make a lot of reels for the Match lights and other things that light up on the backglass....

it looks good. you definately need some lighting on it to give it some depth. I'm starting to think reels are the way to go for the plungers. The dropwalls and lights take way too many textures and the ball animation is crashing vp. I think people are having the same crash issue with my comet table.

Great job on this bob

Added some Shadows and light effects..... Not really a day table or a night version, somewhere in between. I'll try to update the FS version today. If you like daytime tables, then don't download the next update.

It will have a different filename, so if you have an old version of any table, it can be played. smile.gif It's just that I don't want to support too many versions of the same table. I'm thinking 2 versions is enough for me to release as an author, a WS version, because my main monitor is a WS monitor and a FS version for my One Monitor style of playing that can easily be changed to their FS viewing preferences. Many people play 4:3 tables on the widescreen monitor and don't even know the difference, so I'm guessing they can play a WS version on a 4:3 monitor and still be none the wiser. smile.gif ....Or they can learn how to edit tables, a little editor experience never hurt anyone.

Since this is in the PinMAME section I must ask......

Which ROM do you use for this table?

I don't know why it says that. The file is in the category below.... It's the only place to upload FS tables.

VPForums.org > Downloads > VP 9.x > VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN) > Knockout 2011b FS Update

I got a WS version, the backglass looks fantastic darker, but the playfield renders darker and I'm not so sure it's better than the other verson.

There is a backglass in the 4th post of this thread. I straightened it, but it could use some PhotoShop work, I don't really use them, so I am finished with it. Anyone is welcome to improve that image.
