Thanks. Yea been messing around with it all weekend and I can't get any of the animations too work properly. I've tried re-importing the animation sequenced primitives, re-writing the code, screaming and yelling at it, lol you name it.

Tried opening FirePower vs AI 1.3.4 in 10.7, since I haven't been able to hear ROM sounds for player 1. Noted the repeated question about version of 10.6 being used. Since I was on the release version, I figured I'd try 10.7.2 to see if that fixed it.

Nope. Crashes 10.7.2 before it will open the file.

I take it back. Next table I tried to open crashed it too. Restart and all is fine.

Still can't hear the ROM sounds on Firepower vs AI though.

That's strange, I've never had that happen before.

It would be greatly appreciated.

FYI, both tables still run great in VR with VR-GL 10.8 ;)  and also with 10.8 VPX, although some bulbs in Big Game are a little too bright.

Hey guys. Happy Holidays.

Just installed 10.7.2 figured it was about time to get back into it. Couple issues I'm having... There doesn't seem to be a command refference.txt file included. Is there a link to this file somewhere?

The main issue I'm having is primitive animations. None of them seem to work with 10.7.2. Not sure if it's a change in how I need to write the code or if it's just broken now. This is noticeably bad with my Firepower table. Looks like another update is needed;)

I hadn't played your FP-AI table in quite a while but ran it today in vpx 10.7 final rev 366 desktop mode and to me it seems as fantastic as it always was. If something is missing I don't see it- what should I look for?

Look to see if the stand-up targets and moving when struck and also the pop-bumper rings are actuating as they should for some reason on my end they move for a bit then get stuck in the up or down position.

I just checked, and the targets are moving when hit, but the bumper rings are in fact getting stuck.

The targets bounce and spring nicely but as xenonph says the upper two pop bumper rings come down ONCE, then bounce back never to be seen again. The lower two pops seem ok though

Edit: I tried your 3.3 version (only grabbed 3.5 today) and its the same thing except the rings on the upper pops stick down, even between players.

Then I tried Bigus modded version of darthmarinos firepower and it all works as it should.

Next I tried your 3.5 with vpx 10.8 32 bit- same except one ring down, one stuck up.

Lastly I tried it with 10.7.2 final 64 bit and by golly it all worked! For one ball and one player. Then they stuck again >:-(

Yea, it seems like it's playing the animations once or twice then it just gives up, lol.

So it seems when I use PlayAnimEndless on any primitive animation it plays it continuously as it should. But then when I use Playanim it will only play the animation once or twice or not at all. Very random.

Going to create a blank table and do some testing on this very incrementally.

So I just started importing random animated primitives into a blank table and sure enough, unless you use Stopanim with another timer on every one of them to sort of reset it, they all eventually get stuck. Guess I'll wait for 10.8.

@3rdaxis : You should register the bug on github, only way to make sure it at least doesn't get overseen. If it is a easy fix, you might even get to see a pre. 10.8 fix for it.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

If this a bug, I will add it to Github.

On a flasher object, can the F10 and F11 shortcuts be used to add "points"? Thought I recalled being able to do this in the past, but it does not work now on 366. Can someone confirm please?

Hi toxie, I can't believe I'm scrounging for cones at my age :) but I can make every other basic 3D shape within VP except cone. Using 47 ramps doesn't really cut it and having to resort to other 3D software is somewhat cumbersome. I assume that there must be a good reason that the cone shape is omitted from the lineup, but is it something that could be included in future VP versions?

Thanks for the excellent work that you and the other Devs have put into this software, and the superb physics leaves other offerings for dead.

Cheers :)
