Well, I'll provide a text file that you should be able to copy-paste into even the older table (though there may be some instructions of timers to add/adjust), once there are enough fixes.  And at some point, I will post his last version, but there's gotta be some grace period.  Even still, there aren't game-changing differences between the graphics; just enough differences between that and the code that warranted a new release.

Loafer, no disrespect taken at all, hence the use of a smiley.

Thanks guys for the help. I have done it both ways >>Run as admin>>>>C:\XDMD\XDMD Demo\bin\Release ,,,,,Visual Pinball\UltraDMD,,,,,amh-reg file and on each I do get them registered successfully show's that in the dos window command promt, All files are where they should be, unblocked, But crash's when trying to start the table. Even if I double click the ultradmd.exe file outside of vpx I get the same crash error. Running windows xp if that matters

I just installed UltraDMD on a computer running XP it seems to be working fine... I do not have the pinball set up on that computer so I can not try it in the game

OUTHERE I got it working finally. I had net frame 2.0 installed tried it and tried it, Says it was registered and everything but still would not work. I ended up downloading net frame 3.5 sp1 and that did the trick. Went back to command prompt as admin and it registered the same as it did before,, But this time I double clicked ultradmd.exe and it popped right up I resized it and ran AMH for the first time, Very nice table running the latest from fren, Sound and graphics are great. Thanks to all that help me out, now I can play me some AMH. :dblthumb:  :dblthumb:  :dblthumb: :dblthumb:  :dblthumb:

OK, I need some help with looking into the possibility of saving data outside of the table.  I've found Destruk's post on his understanding of doing Dip Switch stuff, but I'm having the darndest time finding much information on stuff.  I've looked at Melon's Twilight Zone table where, at the launch of a table, or by pushing F6, you can bring up an options menu for lots of stuff.  The problem I'm running into currently is when I try call .viewDips or .viewDipsExtra, I get a "Object required: controller" error.  Now, I don't use B2S, and we're obviously not launching VPM here, but are those required in order to bring up a Form to store data into the stg file?

Anyone know if there's any sort of documentation on this, or anyone who's still active (destruk has been out of the game mostly for a while, he hasn't even been on since May)?

check any loserman table, he does that, we can use the user folder of vp to load and store files and values, like the lmemdoftables.txt of AMH table :)

Useful, but I need a way of prompting the user to select options.  Does he do that in any other tables?  Is there some other way than creating a from?

there are tables where you can have such options with f6 button, like this table from sindbad

but i don't know if it's vpm specific or not

Holy Poop, nevermind.  Once I turned on the B2S server (even though I'm not using any backglass stuff), the Form popped up just fine.  So it did need a Controller of some sort, and luckily the B2S object works just fine.

UDMD shouldn't be crashing; if anything you should see "File Not Found."  If it's crashing (other than when you quit the table), you should update UDMD.

You should also have ~685 gifs (give or take 5).  Re-download the gifs from the first post if you have less than that.

Are you crashing when War Fort is the selected mode (look at the light in the center shot) and you hit a bumper?

I spent a day or two listening to Taylor Swift who told me to shake it off. Shake shake shake shake shake it off.

Updated AMH.

Added the fixes that have been discussed

Added some lighting to the back wall

Added a collidable wall where the ghost is so there's no more ghosting through the ghost ............boo

Here's the link

fyi perfectly ok with you guys sharing links and fixes and stuff if a link I have goes down (or I take it down intentionally out of spite) - my permission to mod knows no bounds.

about 90% done adding feedback to the version that i had, i will merge these changes to fresh latest version, and continue, these last 10% takes a litlle bit longer than the rest, we are trying to make the flashers a little bit more accurate than the previous dof one

Only changed the stuff that's been suggested in the thread so far (and commented out all the dof stuff). Send your code my way first and I can merge it in notepad+ easily. I'll send it back to you before I add it to the table so you can beta test it.
