1. That was it. I just wasn't going low enough.
So, if anyone else want's the GlowBall effect (but just less intense):
a. Do not de-activate it in the Script. (obviously)
b. For each of the 9 (table-sized) "Glowball lamps" in the Glowball Layer, Change the Intensity=50 to Intensity=2 on each one.
Still a very nice LocNar effect, IMO.
2. Yes, I noticed that ... seems something other than color is affecting how they look as they are the various colors. But it's fine if it needs to be that way.
3. Acknowledged.
So, another thing crossed off my wish list. Thanks buddy.
2) you could change in the script what images they are using, could just have them remain same even
If we could come-up with a decent desktop computer, graphics card, and some screens, would you have room to go ahead and build the $200 vpin-cab and keep it setup?
I just have my old gaming computer on the floor, hidden-under my (now 3 screen) ALP cabinet.
I have some video cards in the closet that I'm not using. Someone might as well use them before they get even more obsolete.
Oh, and if you don't mind getting a few, maybe fix your DMs here. It says I can't send you a message.
Oh heck no GPU needed.
You take pretty much any used but working laptop with at least an i5 3230m, which is a 2012 era laptop and not a high end one at that.
Now you get a used 17" LCD, those will all be VGA/DVI input.
So grab a HDMI to VGA or DVI cable
Now just get the cheapest xbox clone gamepad you can find
Laptop is both the PC and the backglass
take hinges apart so you can carefully fold laptop in half backwards to fit it in the backbox
17" display is the playfield
No buttons or pin controller etc to buy, the gamepad is all your controls and rudimentary DOF.
After that one need only accumulate whatever scrap wood they can to fashion whatever enclosure they feel like.
I mean you can do it in cardboard for that matter, it just is not very durable.
Suitable laptops i usually see for around $80 to $100
The used 17" displays are usually around $15 to $25
cable is like $7 for the display
$16 or $20 for cheap gamepad
Only caveat is you need to be selective on tables you load
VP9 any cab format table of course
VPX, well no vpinworkshop stuff obviously, JP Salas tables most any work.
Lots of other tables work as well.
All of mine work fine except the HM fantasy version due to all the script tracking LED segment crap.
I mean technically it works in a physical sense but the logic is apt to lag out into left field
