I installed vpx yesterday without issue, super simple. Only have 1 table (vector) loaded atm and love it. Buddy of mine has the real table so nice to be able to play it at my house too.

Thanks to EVERYONE who has spent hours continuing to improve this fun experience. I am awed at what has and continues to be done.

Alpha phase is already over. The next step is the beta phase we are currently in and then comes the final release. When this will be? Simple when it's finished; )

Itching for a final release so table authors can start churning out the popular tables again. :)

Sounds like there's no reason to recreate other tables but the popular ones.

If king pin is not popular I don't know what is? You will never play it in real life! You can go anywhere and play top 10 pinballs but will never see a kingpin to play ever! Thank you for all these great tables in vp 10! I enjoy them all! More so the rare ones!

I totally agree.  Emulating rare and old machines is what makes VP such an awesome tool.  I thanks everyone involved for the ability to play Kingpin (and all the other tables) on my cab.  Its looks and plays GREAT.

I know it's disappointing when you hear people say this kind of crap, but please remember the majority of us really appreciate each and every one of these tables for VP10 and truly appreciate all of the hard work you put in to them.

For me vp is about having all pinballs...I have made a lot of digital pinball machines for people and they are collectors like me but nobody can have 800+ pinballs in basement but everyone wants 800+ that is why I love vp. Again thanks everyone for all you do!

We're all here building great tables and testing this, and seeing a comment like that makes it sounds like "thanks b team for doing the hard work on tables people don't want to play, making it easier for the a team to come in and build the tables i really want to play" you know? It's probably not what he meant but unfortunately many people say things without thinking about how it sounds. It probably won't have any effect on the work I do either, but it gives me pause, like do we really need AFM and MM and TZ and TOM and all the other popular games to get this out there and get people interested in the beta? Unfortunately, that's probably true - but as far as I am concerned that just doesn't sound fun, it's not new to me so there's no motivation. If you want to play those tables, go play those tables - there's already amazing recreations available. If you want to help with VP10 testing, go ahead and play the tables we've got, if you just want to come in and voice your disappointment in lack of A+ title tables, then you're gonna bum out the people who are working hard on this.......

I totally agree that it's not fun to read messages like that. But recently I was reminded that when your favourite table could benefit from a facelift, it's really hard to hold back your enthusiasm when one sees the potential by what's been done with other tables. So given the "popular" tables are more than likely many people's favourite, it's kind of normal that people are looking forward to the AFM/TOTAN/etc with the fancy instant dark room light effects of VP10, just to name a few of the advantages.

Personally, I can wait just fine, having too much fun enjoying what we have rather than what we don't have, but this is a message board and to hope that everyone holds their tongue when they see the incredible job done on the many vp10 tables, maybe that's just not realistic. I say hold thy breath and keep going with your awesome releases, because that's exactly what's been released so far, simply awesome tables! To those who can't wait, what can I say? Become an author and do them yourselves! ;)

There is certainly a difference between being excited about VP10 and what it could bring to someone's favorite table and being downright rude. These authors are building tables "they" want to build. They are also doing it to help make VP10 stable and ready to launch. They go through the pain of creating and recreating their tables as new betas come out. They adjust and readjust tables in order to take advantage of new options and techniques in order to help create a more realistic simulation. It's a lot of work. Work that those that complain aren't doing. If they had the know-how and talent, then they would just do it themselves.

Yet some people have the nerve to whine because their favorite isn't being built yet. And oh, someday when we get out of beta, we will start to see "real" games to play.  Gimmie a break.

I really think these people have no idea that they are being rude. I think they are so self absorbed that they don't even get it.

There is no excuse for that kind of behavior. If you don't have something nice to say, or at least something that is constructive in criticism, then keep it to yourself.

Boy, can you guys take an innocent comment and make something negative out of it fast. lol

I did not say that other tables are not great. I like all pinball tables. But come on, some are just more "Popular" then others. Simple fact of life.

I just want VP10 to have all the great tables that are on my Hyperpin wheel that my VP9 does, and I realize that is not going to happen until a final build is released. However long that may take.

Keep up the good work guys. I have 1,634 post on this board and not one of them is negative.

I think everyone would like to have all those great VP9 tables built for VP10 but they won't be as good as possible until VP10.0 is ready for a final release. There are some really nasty physics/collision bugs in VP10 we need to fix first. Then we can talk about a release.
