Just to confirm that the evidence is mounting that the kicker fix (see above) has solved the problem smile.gif I have hit the left ramp 40 to 50 times during multiball and it has worked perfectly every time tup.gif

Thanks UW, didn't even know an Alpha edition exisited untiil seeing this post today. I have not really played it much due to the ramp issue. I can now appreciate your work fully. Only ever played this table a few times for real so never got the feel for it.

Thanks to the guys for the fix and MRCMRC for the mod.

Huh. So was there ever a 4/3 version of this mod released? The ramps in the original were quite the eyesore.

Ooops. Very first game on multiball the same thing happened. Ball gets stuck in left ramp and bounces up and down. sad.gif
However the ramps look terrific and the right VUK timing is now perfect.
I get to hear the entire KISS quotes in order now. smile.gif
Thanks again for all the hard work it is a vast improvement over what we started with.

do what in2kiss said, change droprampkicker2 kick force from 55 down to 40 in the script and you should be golden.

Also, if you need your Pinball Wizard or Nanotech diy plunger kit to work, I added the EMReel animated plunger instructions to Noah's plunger mod post a while back:

Noah's Updating Fullscreen Tables for the Nanotech diy plunger kit forum post

If you have a Pinball Wizard or Nanotech diy plunger kit, this is an invaluable resource! Thx to Noah for posting it.

Hope the new version works for everyone.

In addition to the upper corner of the left ramp rebuilt, I've decreased the strenght of the ramp helper. Thanks to in2kiss for the tip. If still having issues, open the script, locate line 505 ("DropRampKick2.CreateBall:DropRampKick2.Kick 0, 45"), put 40 or 35 instead of 45, compile the script and save the table.

I can't believe that the left ramp issue is still there. Tested the table for about two hours, with more than 40 hits on it...

EDIT.- Tested again, more than 20 hits to the left ramp on multiball, 100% times got into the whirpool... blink.gif

hi The McD

I had fun to convert last night.

here is what happens .....

there is a big bug in multiball to climb the ramp that goes to the bowl.
you simply need to remove the 2 kickers.
in addition it hardens a little game because the ball too easily climb this ramp.
it will also duplicate Paid 4 lamps.because we no longer see them.
I will change this day to put on a visible.

greetings

I did not have time to play any more games so I will have to mess with it tomorrow night.
Just my luck to have it happen on my first game.

Please, don't download the file. I suspect it isn't updated.

EDIT: Confirmed, I sent to unclewilly the old file again.

It seems to work fine for me, the only additional fix that is really required is the droprampkicker2 needs to have it's power lowered from 55 to 40.
Like I said in my post right above yours, the only other things I did were to add support for Pinball Wizard/Nanotech diy plungers and of course, add in the "nude-mod" playfield that I "photo-chopped" in TheGIMP.

It seems to be working perfect IMHO.

Best Regards,
Todd.

The only change I've made is decrease that kicker strenght to 45 and rebuild (smooth) the upper corner of the left ramp.

I'm sure it would be enough decreasing the kicker strenght, but take in mind that many people who download this file doesn't know even what the script is. So I think that having a 100% working file uploaded is necessary.

It's nothing significant, all I did was shift the color of the bathing suit to match the woman's skin tone on all 4 of the playfield images. In fact, it's barely noticeable.
