I had to comment out some lines to get the keys to work:

Works for me. Are you using the antar2 rom?

I wasn't before, but I am now and still no change. The game boots and has GI and that's it. No score lights light up, just GI. The plunger doesn't move with the enter key either. This is AFTER adding the Antar2 rom. Pinmame says the rom is good and it's able to use it.

 

I noticed the script was only like 97 lines long, is there an external script that this is looking for? I didn't see anything in the zip file.

Are you using VP10.8 or 10.7? I'm using 10.7 & no issues at all.

Hi ALL & thank you Bigus for your work,

 

I have had the same issues like Itchigo, emulation starts, can't add credits, display player 1 shows "St" at the left digits and "00" in credits, all other digits were blank. Then I quit the emulation and started the game again - and then it works ok.

 

All this with 10.7.

It does that periodically. I think the roms are buggy for this table, according to the previous author's blarb. Restart and it's fine, as you said :)

DO NOT rename table to Antar.vpx

 

REASON: Antar.vbs is the name of a deprecated machine translation.

 

It will cause the table to load that instead of the table's script and the table will never run

 

@Bigus1

change this line as follows (line 16)

LoadVPM "01560000", "Play2.vbs", 3.32

@Everyone else
You can probably safely go in your scripts folder and rename antar.vbs to antar.vbs.deprecated, IF you make sure any antar table you use uses the Play2.vbs machine translation, in case you use any old vp9 versions etc.

 

And before anyone asks
No, best i can tell, the upper left flipper in antar is not wired as a staged flipper


If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

This is what I get with 10.72 and 10.8.

 

(Edit), I missed Weisshund's post above and renamed the table to Antar..VPX. with no change. I didn't notice I still had the vp9 in that folder, but after I removed it there was no change.

Antar..vpx is still probably going to be seen as antar

try rename it Antar(Playmatic).vpx

 

Mind you if you do what i advised above

 

1) change line 16 of the table script as shown

 

2) go in scripts folder and rename antar.vbs to something else, antar,vbs,bak or soemthing

 

It should run for you with 0 conflicts

I just downloaded the table, and then opened the table script, and took a snapshot to show you what the script looks like.

I have not changed anything.

The only thing I can think of is I had a bad download. I redownloaded it for the 3rd time, and it finally worked. The one that worked has a script of 511 lines and the first one I downloaded had 97 (which I knew wasn't right unless it had an external script in addition).

 

A big thank you to Weisshund, Digitalarts,, Xenonph, Clyde, and Telmoabff as well as Bigus for converting and upgrading this. :love39:
