THIS TABLE IS FOR VPX 10.8 !!!!
 
Table is based off the original VP9 version, but sadly most of the original version went into the trash can.
Some code pieces remain that did not need redone.
 
New Playfield and Plastics art was made by Patrick2610
I did some small graphics, and made a few minor modifications to Patrick's plastics for color adjustment and transparencies.
 
Table rebuilt in VPX
JP's latest physics
Wiesshund's Slingshots
Full SSF sound
 
 
Use the VP9 directB2S, no new backglass art exists at this time
the backglass does not do anything on this table, no displays or animated lighting
So if someone wants to draw a new 16.9 backglass image, the b2s is dead simple.
 
Mod Freely but ask Partrick2610 about reusing his artwork

Have downloaded tabel, rom and b2s

       Started the table with Vpx8 Beta5

       The table is shown but nothing happens.

       No lights, no scoreboard and no b2s

 

But the implementation looks very good.

Same problem when loaded, I can hear coins but table does not start. Anyone else seeing a blaxk square covering lower left corner of table?

What is Beta 5?

Unfortunately that means nothing to me

Should be an actual revision?

 

Table itself works though

 

Would need more info, what does your vpx log show?

You have a hidden error dialog maybe?
Disable exclusive full screen and see if you have an error?

if you hear coins and dont see the ROM

have you validated the ROM in vpinmame?

 

what version of vpinmame do you have?

So if your table does not work then you have no rom, or an older one. I even deleted the nvram file in case the rom needed to be setup, but no, the nvram gets created and the table works fine.

 

There  are some test lights left on top of the left side of the apron, and the vpinmame has the extended info on. Other than that it plays great

i must have uploaded diagnostic version by mistake, re-uploading

 

that wont cause it not to run though

set the 2 walls under the lights so top is -49 height and they will go away since the lights are pinned to the two walls

You dont have to

set the 2 walls under the lights so top is -49 height and they will go away since the lights are pinned to the two walls

 

they are in layer clean up in isle 7

My vpx.exe is the same.

The rom is from here. But i have tried some from other sites too.

Nvram is not created in the user folder.

Maybe i need one that i manually put in the user folder ?

I have just downloaded the rom from here and it is not working with the newest vpinmame. I have not tried an old vpinmame.

I have just downloaded the rom from here and it is not working with the newest vpinmame. I have not tried an old vpinmame.

oh bad, i'm too late... for now download isn't available. perhaps wiesshund makes a newer upload this time.

but in the meantime i played a little with the vp9 version.

one hint: as in the old script the rom "atarianb" was used, but this is now changed in newer vpinmame to "atarians", 

you have two alternatives:

a) change the cgamename in the script to "atarians" - table is working, but no dof

b) let the old "atarianb" in the script, but set a vpmalias "atarianb,atarians" - table AND dof are working  ;-)

 

i think this could be working in/with wiesshund's vpx version, too
