Looks absolutely fantastic -- love the look over the other one dblthumb.gif

However the spider turns faster and it is harder to get it to stop where you want it compared to the other one.

This table keeps getting better and better with JP's, jimmyfingers and your work!!

It is not turning faster. The movment is controlled by the VPM rom, can't change that. It probably looks faster because the spider is bigger.

Thanks for clarifying that Rosve. This table is a show-piece for me when people come and visit. really amazing work by all.

Edit: one question -- does this use significantly more computer resources than the other one? I am thinking the table maybe playing less smooth for me but not sure.

It does use more cpu time when the spider is spinning, due to the transparant background of the spider. Not when the spider is standing still. On my laptop this backglass comsumes around 0.5% of the total cpu power when the spider is still. Up to 14% when it is spinning.

Thanks Rosve, it's good to know that it is using almost nothing except when spinning, when you aren't playing the table.

I would assume a static B2S uses even less -- virtually nothing, right?

That's correct!

I (and Jimmyfingers) have found a couple of issues with the web lights that could be improved. I'll post an update when I am ready with the modifications.

The B2S backglass is updated and uploaded. No more skipping lights in the web.

Thanx Roger... I was just about to make a report on this, and you caught it already...

At 42 seconds, you can see how the BG spider should look, so thanx for updating!!

EDIT: OOps... i think i spoke too soon... There still seems to be an issue with the big spider...he has some weird glow around his body (should be black not white/blueish)... if you looks at the video above, it shows how it should look, unless something is wrong on my system?? cheers.

Yes, those white areas was supposed to be transparent. I didn't change that in this update as I need to make 48 new spider images. I'll fix it in a later update. You have to live with it for now.
