That belkin strip is going to let you down if it's the same model as mine. Just the powered USB accessories keep the entire strip powered while the PC is off. I'd go with a smartstrip brand and return that belkin if you already bought it.
Thought I'd follow up and mention that the Belkin Conserve power strip has been working flawlessly for me. I think this is a case of YMMV, depending on how much power your computer draws when turned 'off.' But in the future, I'll probably just go with a Smart Strip, as I like the fact that the power sensitivity can be adjusted.
