This night mod is a collaborative effort between Teppotee and I.
 
Thank you to JP Salas for allowing Teppotee and I to mod his recreation. He did an awesome job originally!
 
These are the main things that were changed in this night mod :
Changed most table images, physics, flippers, layback, x/y, etc. (AaronJames)
Reworked JP's alpha ramp flashers. (AaronJames)
Ramp Border Textures (Teppotee)
New GI (Teppotee)

What's New in Version 1.3 (See full changelog)

  • 1.3
  • I adjusted the script a little to make it more user friendly. Upon first play, there should be no more crackle with the sound :)
  • 1.2 IMPORTANT UPDATE
  • Teppotee fixed the GI light graphical error
  • (some lights wouldn't turn on/off)
  • He also added halo's to the back wall lights and those look much better now.
  • This version includes BMPR as well and it can be switched on/off from the script like in Elvis.
  • (Momentum = True / False)
  • Teppotee also changed layback settings
  • (modified the slope as well to work with the BMPR)
  • 1.1 - Changed constant ball size to 50. (thanks TheWool)

Nice night mod Aaron !

I'm getting the sounds playing twice with this table, and only this table.  I'll hear it at normal volume and then about 1.5 seconds later, I hear the same sounds only softer.  I loaded the old JP version, and had the same issue.  Anyone else getting this and know of a simple solution?  I'm using the lastest vpinball.exe (677).  I test with both 677 and 676 and had the same issue.  Any ideas?

 

EDIT: .Games(cGameName).Settings.Value("sound") = 0 '0 = disable  rom sound

 

This solved it.  Sorry for the needless post.  Hopefully it helps someone else out down the line.  :)

I'm glad you figured it out. Good job. 

You can also keep rom=1, just turn down the table volume all the way down so nothing echoes. 

Its always one or the other. 

Try to keep rom at one because 0 will make rom animations static or motionless.

Hi Aaron--I just downloaded the newest version(nightFS1.2)and the sound is ---scratchy. My settings remain at "1". I went back and then played the 1.1 version and the sound is OK. Any ideas on why this is.? The game volume is not set any louder than in any other table---like 25

I see what your saying, i just changed the script and will upload 1.3

Still having a problem with the lights around the 2 lower slingshot bumpers (orange) and the 2 lower CREE's (clear/silver) staying on at random times and then sometimes going out in a few seconds and sometimes staying on till my ball rolls through them. 

 

 Love the night mods great job other than that little glitch

Yes It is still with 1.3 ... I have tried them all now ... same thing ... also tried many different setting in my graphics card ATI HD7850 2gb and nothing changes the effect

I was reading something about playing the table first before editing the script for the ultravp server ... going to try that...
