medieval madness night mod

Screenshots
This is yet another "night mod" for you guys. I'm sooo happy JP Salas allowed me to do this modification.
Many images were changed / altered. Some physics of the table also changed.
I had a lot of fun "remixing" this table. All honor goes to JP.
This table plays a lot like the night mod of Attack From Mars.
Remember, if you are not using the db2s, you will need to change the script to either "uvp" or "controller"
Also, this is automatically set up for the "profanity" rom.
Cheers,
Aaron James

What's New in Version 1.2 (See full changelog)

  • v1.2
  • Changed alpha ramp flashers
  • -checked off "normal 3D Stereo"
  • (this was causing flashers to have nasty side effects and unnecessary ball stutter. I suggest turning on Region Optimization in video settings of VP editor).
  • Update 1.1
  • Re-worked physics of the table.
  • Modified all alpha ramp flahsers to "additive bi".
  • -This makes them more transparent/natural imo.
  • Modified lock gate (removed skull)
  • Colorized apron.
  • *I saved this with VP 9.1.6 rev 622, so I'd recommend using that version. (It is found in Koadic's daily builds, found in his signature on this forum)

I am using vbs 3.43 now and 9.1.6 build 622.. still the same as with revision 582 (which is what I used before)

Another nice mod Aaron---I'm running 9.15 and it runs fine for me. Apparently, it is no longer necessary to make the directb2s agree with the table name? I loaded it into my cab and did nothing else. Wanted to make sure it would run . And when I did, I see all the animation in the backglass that's supposed to be there and I didn't do anything with respect to making the db2s match the new table! I see the profanity rom is up by default. Nice

Yea, the db2s does that sometimes, not sure why. I would still have two separate db2s files named accordingly to their respective tables just so you have no errors in the future. I just make a copy of the db2s file, then rename it. Hope you have fun!!!

The squares in my pc = 1280 x 1024. and no transparency ramp = grey

No squares in 1080 p = 1920 x 1080. and no grey ramp = transparency ok.

Hey Aaron, the new version 1.1 fixed my problems :)

Great job! I am officially a fan of your night mod versions now  :dblthumb:

Finally got to download and play this update.  Excellent job!  I love the lighting.

Some reason, it is wanting to Display on my Screen in Portrait Mode, not Landscape
