Thanks to RipleYYY for suggesting the table, test it and for letting me use part of his script (the light numbers).

The table is fast, if you feel it is too fast then you can always reduce the min and max table slopes.

It is angle independent so you may change the view angle too if you prefer.

Wow. Unbelievable job on this table.

Deserves 6 stars.

Thanks!
Thanks again JP! I can't express enough, how wonderful of a job you do! Completely extravagant!!

An excellent table.  Has three top criteria on my personal checklist:

  • The ball can be easily returned to the top of the table.
  • It has an open center field gives you lots of room for flipper action.
  • There are plenty of things to aim at.
  •

One Problem:
Once you hit 29 pts and 5x on the multiplier there really isn't any other way to get more points except for dropping the ball in one of the side holes... over and over again.

Some stuff to know for those about to try this table:

  • The knockdowns: B and C are the ones you have to work to get, the others will usually get nailed by random ball movement.  C is the hardest to nail.
  • Hit the magnet holes on either side as often as possible (they're easy).  Do 8 on 1 ball, get a free game. If you are at 5X multiplier these are about the only way to run up more points.
  • There is plenty of slow ball movement around the flippers which make it easy to catch the ball and set up an aimed shot.  Use it.
  • There are a more than a few times when the ball drains w/o you having to use the flippers and /or a ball scoring just a few thousand points.  That's life... just move on.
  • On rare occasion the game will fail to recognize your ball drained.  Hit 'B' on the keyboard, load up another ball, and just keep going. Puase, hit B again, and remove a ball.  That will get everything back to normal.  Resume game.  When that ball drains the problem should clear.
  • The no-safe-nudge timer runs a bit longer than I think it should.  See lines 168-172 in the script.  I added 5 to the delay value and it seems to let me do a second nudge sooner than before.
  • Expect lots of games to finish well below 100,000 points, very, very few above 300,000.  My high score is 846910; I'll be astonished if I ever beat that.
  • The game script does NOT award free games based on score. Give yourself a free one at 220,000 and another at 440,000.

Making a great table even better.

I HIGHLY recommend changing the speed on the flippers to 2.0; The change evens out the utility of the flippers, slightly reducing the usefulness of the left flipper and giving the right flipper a huge improvement.  This doesn't spoil the game...  it evens things out and IMO produces a more "true" experience of the table.

"Out of the box" the right flipper is almost useless for hitting any target.  Changing the speed as I suggest makes a slight change in the angles the ball will take.  You can now hit the Dragon Wing hole on the left, shoot the ball up the high left roller, even hit the C and E buttons.  At the original speed, forget about doing that. It does slightly degrade the utility of the left flipper do it is now a bit harder to hit the right side dragon wing hole than before (it still remains more likely to hit the right side hole than the other flipper does for the left side hole, just not as often as before).

After you change the speed, it's still  a VERY hard table to win a free game on points but the change will increase your points and will modestly increase your game time with each ball.

i have this pinball its down in the basement in bad condition
