Stern 1980 "Stern's first talking Pinball Game is Really Taking Off!"
Across the Special-1-Key *) you can choose and save whether name-entry (initials) on the end of game shall be used or not.
If you fade-out or fade-in the HUD-Display across the Toggle-Hud-Key, then this setting will get saved for further
game sessions.
The standard playfield image has a size of 1024 x 2048 pixels. If you like a higher resolution please choose "Spielfeld2048"
as "Playfield Image" in the table-propertys in the editor. For further use of this the table must get saved.
As there are some Diskussion of it:
If balls are in the multiball lock during the end of the game, they will not be shot out for a new game, but will remain there for a new game and will be "credited" to each player. This circumstance corresponds exactly to the original flipper, which ejects remaining balls in the lock only when the flipper is switched off and then switched on again.

Hey, I'm happy the table works when insert a EUR coin instead of the DM that's displayed on the playfield. Heh! Awesome job again Martin. I like the emulation of the capture-and-release of balls that had big attraction-value for this machine at the time..including digitized speech no-less!
looks and plays wonderfully. one of my favorite tables! i still find it puzzling though that none of the versions of this table resets the locked balls after each game.
njtxus, as I remember it, the actual behavior of the machine was to leave balls in place on the table. It has been a few years though since I last played a real machine, but that is how I remember it

Leaving the balls on the table is an option in the settings. Usually 3 Ball game, you leave the balls and in 5 Ball game you reset after a game over.
I have a Stern F2K in my collection. The ball lock is a setting. Doesn't matter if it's 3 or 5 ball. We have ours set to keep locked balls from the prior game because honestly this is a tough game. Even with the balls already locked, 95% of the players still won't get multi-ball. Harry Williams really made you earn your multi-ball!
This table reminds me of my teenage years. We played side by side with my friend from my childhood, each one of us used a flipper, left or right, in the social club in the grandmother´s neighborhood.

I'm having an issue getting the ball to drop into the lane at the beginning of each play. The ball bounces back continuously and doesn't enter the launch lane. I have to nudge the ball to the right each time to launch it. The camera lets me know the ball is trying to drop continuously because I'm on scroll 1 view. Other than that little bug i love the original sounds and the lighting looks amazing on this table. I prefer this to slamtilts ultimate version because the music is linked with the sound effects and I can't turn off the music without silencing those original electronic sounds i love. Thanks!
