This beauty from Sliderpoint, oooPLAYER1ooo and unclewilly is fun all the way.
I just can't get enough of screaming Daleks.
I've added a new playfield (thanks Sheltemke) and done a makeover.
3.0 is a whole new makeover with a new playfield and lighting.
Enjoy

Kinda glad to hear the narcolepsy thing seems to be rom related and not my local setup. The centre target on the Time Expander, sw78, seems to be the trigger but there's no particular pattern that I can identify that causes the table to reset, so I'll go with dodgy rom as the cause. Intermittent problems suck. I think I was once a no sound victim too, because this all feels like deja-vu to me.
Thanks Guys for trying to figure this out ![]()
Maybe l1 is the way to go, but then the color dmd is broken. Anyway, it plays great and thanks for everything you do.

Got the sound working. Thanks all!
Steps taken:
1. Download dw_l1 rom from IMPD
2. Download Sound ROM L1 (U14_U15_U18) from IMPD
3. Unzip both files that you just downloaded
4. Then, zip those files together into a new single zip file called dw_l1.zip
5. Put this new dw_l1.zip file into your VPINMAME/roms folder
6. Run Doctor Who Bigus Mod in VPX 10.7
7. Go into the script of the table and change the ROM name from dw_l2.zip to dw_l1.zip
8. Compile script and then play table.

Tried this in 10.6 Did not work
Thanks anyways though.
When the time machine platform is moving its getting very laggy.
Sound is working fine.
As after 3-4 seconds everything runs smooth again. Is this a bug or just my PC is too slow?
thanks ! NIce table. Works perfect with Altsound !
Thanks Johnny Bravo,, i followed your steps as well and worked like a charm..
Game plays, sound is good, DMD is good BUT playfield is all white plastics and missing all items on playfield... but it plays!
Any ideas how to fix please?
Thank you for allowing me to enjoy these great tables in the best way!

Which files did you combine? I put in u14 15 18 with l1 rom and it did not do anything.
UPDATE: oops, need to change the script to use l1. I would rather have l2 working but this is fine for now.
UPDATE2: I got l2 working downloading from vpu, but it reset mid game so I'm not sure how stable it is. I'll try a few more games and see how it does. Looks like this rom is very fragile.
