I'm new to this. When I go to open it fails and says to check the rom path. Is there a rom I need to install with this? There was not one in the zip.

Edit: Scratch that. I found the roms. Now I just have to fix the no music issue and find the back glass for it.

Though I love pinball, I'm a total newbie in the VP matter. Only been playing FX3 so far.

Been trying to play this table but I'm getting some errors.

I noticed that with older tables (60's and 70's) I haven't had any problems.

The errors are these:

1 - "VBScript Can't start Gamegldneye Objeto necessário".

2 - The image of the table playfield loads.

3 - "Runtime error ------------- Line: 617 Objeto necessário: 'mFlipperMagnet'"

4 - "Runtime error ------------- Line: 1090 Objeto necessário: 'Controller'"

5 - The whole thing comes to a halt.

I suspected I wouldn't need a ROM as this table is a recreation. Also, there was nothing else in the ZIP file, just the VPX file.

I tried to find a ROM what would match the name of the table but nothing showed up.

Any help is welcome.

EDIT: No longer necessary. Found the ROM.

How can i make the sound musik in the Background louder....

Here is the procedure to adjust the volume on Stern tables with the Sega/Stern Whitestar system.

1. Using the 8 and 9 keys, adjust the volume. The 9 key lowers the volume, the 8 key raises the volume (You may have to press the 9 key first to be able to adjust the volume)

2. Wait 30 seconds for the table to reset

This dont work for the background musik

How did you solve the problem? The same thing happens to me with several tables

perfect play but no music too.

someone post a mp3 but where must I copy ?

sorry, key 8 et after 9 give sounds. very nice :)

...

Great table but the humming sound of the flash magnet in the middle of the flippers is unbearable. Is there a way to mute it?

Open the .vpx file in the VP editor. From the toolbar, click on the button that says "Toggle Script Editor" - it should be among the buttons above the elements, along with "Play Table," "Zoom in/out" and the rest. Starting from line 42 in the script, there are instructions for non SSF users to change the magnet volume, and basically it boils down to this:
Line 47 has "MagnetVol = 2" as default. Change the value to 1 or 0 for either 50% of the default volume or to mute it completely.

thank you verry much.

I'm getting a very odd problem where the flippers will automatically engage the moment they get power and I have no idea what might be causing it.
