Take the fight against the Galaga Army to them with Galaga Pinball!
This table requires FlexDMD to operate, so before you launch this table, download and install FlexDMD from the extension's Github release page.
The bonus counter is on the bottom half of the playfield. Each bonus point is worth 100 points at the end of the ball.
All point values specified below are base values, that is, when the ball is not in Multiball mode. All scoring is multiplied during Multiball mode, so use it to make a comeback and earn extra points.
Shoot the upper playfield kicker to start this Multiball.
There is an orbit loop to the left of the ramp in the center that increases your bonus multiplier and awards 100 points.
The ramp in the center of the playfield has different scoring values based on whether the ramp light is unlit, lit or flashing:
All inlanes, outlanes, and rollover lanes score 50 points and 2 bonus points when hit. When the rollover lanes are completed, 100 extra points and 4 extra bonus points are awarded.
If the ball rolls into the outlane on the last ball, Last Chance mode is activated. The game plays normally during Last Chance mode except you cannot start a Multiball. Thus, the upper playfield kicker will simply kick the ball out after a ball rolls in it during this mode.
The upper playfield kicker has a base scoring value of 1000 points whenever a ball rolls in it.
The drop targets on the right of the playfield score 50 points when one of them is dropped. If you drop all the drop targets, you get 200 extra points and 5 bonus points.
The first extra ball is awarded after 10000 total points scored. After that, an extra ball is awarded for every 20000 total points scored. A player's score counter will stop after 999999 total points have been collected by that player during a single game.
If you complete the drop targets 4 times and then shoot the ball into the upper playfield kicker, you will activate the game's wizard mode, a battle against the mothership. You cannot start a multiball in this mode.
Each player gets 3 balls per game.

- Uploaded a patch zip file which you would extract over the original Galaga Pinball game folder.
- Don't forget to back up your original game.vpx!

Not every body uses FlexDMD which is shame as it looks a good table.

I use FlexDMD without issue on other tables but when I run this table I get a Script error in Line 29 : variable is undefined 'score text' and line 98 type mismatch 'Score Label' I have the assets folder in with the table. Any ideas?

For the first error: find the following code in the script:
If Table1.ShowDT = false then
ScoreText.Visible = false
End If
And just delete it, or make sure you go into the backglass options and check "test desktop"
As for that second error, I've literally never seen that before... you sure it was "Score Label" and not "ScoreLabel"?
ScoreLabel was meant as an array to store the FlexDMD text label objects for the scoreboard scene.
Are you sure you're running the original Visual Pinball X and not the Visual Pinball Engine or any other version?
I really don't know how you got that second error, but I'll see if I can replicate the error to see what's up.
That fixed it thanks. I am in a cabinet and usually with FlexDMD you can drag and drop the DMD wherever. For example my 3rd screen where DMD is usually placed. I can only move it via X,Y changes but not to the 3rd screen. Any ideas?

On line 91 if you're using a version prior to 1.6.0, look for the following code:
.Show = False
It should look similar for version 1.6.0 and after, but change that property from False to True, like this:
.Show = True
The external DMD will show up as White, but you can change that on line 90 if you'd like it to match the Script DMD text object, to something like this:
.Color = RGB(255, 128, 0)

Thanks a lot for this as Galaga is one of my favourites on my Bartop arcade machine.
Looks & Plays great on Desktop but is there a way to get it working on Cabinet mode or am I doing something wrong? I have got Flex Dmd installed & working correctly
