This beautiful table from Freneticamnesic and Shoopity is challenging fun.
I think this is what the deep-end looks like! 13k lines of complicated.
3.0 is a fresh makeover with new physics, lighting and sound.
Get both files as the audio is HQ OGG now and old version won't work.
Empty the contents of the AMH Music folder directly into your Music folder.
Put the whole DMD folder into your Tables folder.
Enjoy :)

What's New in Version 3.0 (See full changelog)

  • 1.0 Physics, layout, lights, lighting
  • 1.1 Color DMD Thanks to Armyaviation
  • Instruction cards and Backdrop Thanks to Batch
  • Apron and scoop kicker adjustments
  • 2.0 Physics, lighting, script, sound
  • 3.0 New lighting, layout, physics, sound

Very fun table. This one finally got my GF to try out the cab I've been building.

Thank you freneticamnesic, Shoopity, and bigus1.

Couple comments from earlier in the thread that I found essential:

Much, much better audio, per Shoopity:

You should be able to download the sound files from Ben's site and replace them

To enable DOF, per MauiPunter:

Just go to the User folder in your Visual Pinball directory, there should be a txt file called LMEMDOFTables.txt.  Open that file and change the 0 to 1.

Thanks for this  - especially the reminder re the updated sound files! Would the sound files be replaced via Sound Manager and is there a quick way to replace the sounds other than doing one at a time? Thanks for any advice

Would the sound files be replaced via Sound Manager and is there a quick way to replace the sounds other than doing one at a time?

Yes, can be done in bulk through VPX Sound Manager. Wasn't too painful since Shoopity retained the original filenames.

- Download and unpack AMH_SD_V023.zip from the linked site

- Open the table in VPX and go to Table / Sound Manager

- Sort by Import Path and you'll see that most of the game sounds came from "C:\Users\Sprinter\Box Sync\WIP\AMH\Sounds\"

- Create that same folder structure on your computer and copy all the downloaded wav files there (I used Bulk Rename Utility to quickly copy everything from the 25 subfolders in the unpacked .zip)

- In Sound Manager, use shift+click to select all items from C:\Users\Sprinter\Box Sync\WIP\AMH\Sounds\

- Get comfortable because VPX may be unresponsive for several minutes

- Click Reimport then Yes

- There are a few game sound files that came from a different original directory; Update those individually using Reimport From

- Close out Sound Manager, save the updated .vpx, enjoy your 500MB table

Thanks so much for this  - much appreciated!

Thanks bigus1 for the new updates ! paly nice , it's better , but how win the extra-ball ?

Thanks to those who must have spent a lot of time bringing this recreation to life.

One issue of note - once a game has been completed it appears impossible to see what score you achieved via the dmd. All high scores are registered so no problem there, but every other pinball game I know allows you to see the score of the last game played. Is there any way to amend this?

Excellent Table!  Is it me or has anyone else's backglass for this table not close properly when using pinup popper?  It closes just fine when just using vpx.  I'm stumped.

Update:  I edited the LMEMDOFTables.txt and changed the "0" to  "1" and this fixed this issues for me.

SO close with this table. Everything in the right place, (al)most everything working, including the DMD, except it displays "FILE NOT FOUND" when looking for an image, and will somtimes flash to my score.

America's Most Haunted.UltraDMD is in the Tables folder. Not sure what im missing.

*edit. rebooted PC and all is good. not sure what that was about

Having an issue with the high scores routine.  It's asking me for my initials after every game.  I'm skeptical it's actually saving high scores.  There's no way to tell, because I can't even see what score I got because it's not displayed on the "enter intiials" screen.  And the attract mode never shows any previous high scores either, nor does it show the score of the previous game played.  Pretty sure it's supposed to do both those things.  All I want is to see what score I got.  Even if I look up right away after the last drain, it's already too late because the "enter initials" screen is already there.  Can anyone suggest a solution?

Does anyone get a Script error noting it has 'too many lines in the script' running it under 10.7.4 32 bit and 10.8 64 bit Beta?  I can open and run it perfectly under 10.6 32 bit, but not the more recent VPX's?
