Metallica Premium Monsters Table Tune-Up by members of VPin Workshop Discord. This was a long road for a table mod. Work started by EBisLit with brand new playfield 4 months ago. Playfield is now straighter than the one this had originally. This meant that the whole table had to be rebuild, so the table geometry is closer to the original table now. Added Flupper inserts, new flashers, Fleep sounds, latest nFozzy physics, some new textures, countless hours of tweaks and testing.

UPDATE 106: We got some more feedback from Rik and EB how to make this play even more like the real cabinet. This ended up fine tuning slope angle, flip angles and various parameters of the table to make it a bit harder to play. LUT is now saving correctly. Tomate rendered better wireramps and Skitso finetuned lighting. Enjoy.

I'm not sure what happened on this. It was working and then suddenly I'm getting errors about the LUT, flippers, and controller...

Thank you to everyone's effort in creating this table!
I have some issues however (playing on a Quest 2 headset Via Air link; tested with both 10.6 and 10.7 versions of VPVR):

I'm not seeing a Backbox/back glass and the dmd is very small, positioned to the lower left of where the backglass should be.

With VPX 10.6 (Non VR version) I has the latest colour rom working well using the Freezy DMD; how can I get this showing in VR and in the correct place? (AND on thr back box)

I'm not seeing any of the actual pinball cabinet? (Contrary to the poc accompanying the upload here on here)

Any help would be much appreciated.

Finally, in case anyone else has an issue where thr picture looks washed out (like thr contrast or colour is too high); if I hit one of the keys on my joypad, I think it changes maybe the illuminations settings?; hitting this afternoon times fixes thr issue and thr space shrouding the table is nice an dark, rather than grey (I'd imagine this is mentioned within the table notes/code sheet)

I cant get any backglass to load with the Metallica tables. Any suggestions?  10.6/cabinet

I have been trying to get this table to work for days. I have the table (Metallica Premium Monsters (Stern 2013) VPW Mod 1.0.6) and I have the correct rom (mtl_170h. VPinMAME's self test confirms it is correct). But every time I try to play the table I get the typical "Terminated before initialized, check rom path or rom file" error. I do not understand why. The rom will run on its own, so why won't it run with the table? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I swear, trying to get VPX tables to work is like pulling teeth. I never had this much trouble with VP8 or VP9.

Did you ever figure this out? All of a sudden started happening to me today.  I've re-downloaded the table, deleted it, etc. and now I get those errors every time.

"Visual Pinball Cannot Load A File From That Version"

 

Who makes this rubbish that doesn't work when you follow the instructions to a tee..?
