Nice Update!

GNR is far from beautiful. It needs alot of work on it. As a owner of The real deal. Dont take it the wrong way. No disrespect to the Talented authors that worked on it. Not sure how much resources they had for it. Would also like to know who has the original scans of the table and playfield pieces? Gnr is a fun rockin game like Ac/DC. It deserves attention like ac/dc. Would like to see a team of authors goto work on it and give it the highest quality attention. Iam willing to donate to make this happen. Gnr is my top favorite game and big fan..

@ Sheltemke.  Nice improvement with the playfield light inserts, well done!  Btw.  You inspired me to find a complete reference set of lights to update my wip version too, thanks!

 

@ gregh43.  Personally I am a pinball purist and always prefer tables in their original form.  My idea of 'beautiful' relating to VP is VP tables being as close to the real version in all aspects.  I have come to realize many do not agree and just want brighter and more colorful which is totally cool, each to their own.  I even saw a video of one guy saying he prefers the VP version of Metallica to the real version.  The VP version is very very nice for VP standards but doesn't compare to the real table imho.  I was absolutely shocked at the time but now it's put things into perspective of what many if not most of the VP communities tastes are.  GNR is also one of my absolute favorite pins but I am guessing there are not enough GNR pin fans out there judging by the amount of offers you received to help you get the HQ 3D scans done..  I don't see anyone else who owns the real table in perfect condition willing to help so it's a shame the one and only guy gets shot down with fk boy 'Google search' type remarks.    .

@gregh43 it looks to me like you are the one with the resources that the authors need. So break that baby down and get to scanning. If you want the closest to original that you have been asking for. Not only here I might add. I am positive is you put the scans out there it will be done in no time. Break it down.......break it down.......scan......scan......scan.

I would contribute if I was shown how to scan and What high quality equipment is needed. But it's obvious I wont get any help On this site or other sites. Just High Ego responses asking For help. Plus also I want a high quality GnR table of the A-Team such as G5K and many other highly talented authors not Just Amateurs. Guns N Rose's deserves it. Only 3,000 pinballs Produced.
