Download Black Jack SS (Bally 1976) FS/DT 1.1

bally black jack vpx

A card gaming themed machine from Bally. Another transition game from Bally where both an EM and a Solid State game were produced.
Perhaps the lack of the popular drop targets makes this table an under appreciated and rare table.
The game rules are "simple" -- hit the "player" targets to get your hand higher than the dealer's hand. When you have a winning hand, take the risky, hard shot into the kicker to score the bonus multiplier.
As with many games of this era, the key to a big score is in the bonus!
This release is pretty much an entire redraw of the table with a rework of existing internet images for the plastics.
Be sure to have your .directb2s backglass file named exactly the same as the table to ensure it is paired up with the table when you start the game.
Use F6 to select 5 balls and "player wins on a tie" to increase your chances at a good game and score.
Enjoy!

What's New in Version 1.1 (See full changelog)
- 1.0 - Initial Release
- 1.0a- correction of upper-mid right rollover switch, added objects to collections for proper sounds and reduced size of apron for more correct alley way under the flippers.
- 1.1 - As above + Hauntfreaks graphic updates + flipper friction
I'm loving these old school tables you keep pumping out, this one looks great...I noticed some odd behaviour when I cradle the ball with the flippers though, like some unnatural gravitational force
Give the 1.1 a try .. see if that is better. Still learning the right friction settings to use on the flippers.
Hey Daryl, doesn't this use a ROM? If it does shouldn't it be in VPX/VPinmame Recreations? Same with Mata Hari and Night Rider?? Or am I understanding the categories wrong.
Nice work on all of them by the way!
Dan
version 1.1 doesn't appear in the list of downloadable files
Dan.... heres the rom
http://www.vpforums....ds&showfile=338
Tony the 1.1 version seems to have been cast into space its passing the sun and will be heading back on the argues task of being approved,
well its that or its been kept in a mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnalls' porch since noon awaiting Carnac the Magnificent to review....
oops
Oh, I have the ROM, just think this should be in VPX/VPinmame Recreations instead of VPX Recreations. If we are going to have these seperate catagories they should be at least used correctly, then maybe there would be a ROM link spot up top as well. ... still waiting on Carnac, I need to know what's in the envelope!
The 1.1 file is there - it should not be reported broken.
Black Jack SS (Bally 1976) FS/DT 1.1. Ok, i'm confused. Which file is FS and which one DT?
ohhh it's a vpx table *tongue out*
