Medieval Madness Version 2.3
Another port from VP9 using the original table from JP Salas with enhancements.
This table is currently configured to use the unofficial profanity rom which is available in the link below.
If you would prefer to use one of the original release roms, then simply change the rom name in the script.
Many options are available for graphics via variables at the top of the script, please tweak these to your liking.
PLEASE NOTE: Version 2.X -The castle lighting (front green splash) and a couple of other lights in this area require that the table layback/inclination/FOV are not changed to be positioned properly. If you want to change these variables, set the variable "Old_Lightning" to 1 in the script to use an angle independent scheme that will not break when these values are changed.
A huge thanks to Ninuzzu and Zany for providing models and textures for use in this version of the table.

What's New in Version 2.3 (See full changelog)
- Cautiously optimistic right ramp hang is fixed.(Made significant changes to right ramp geometry and physics).
- Removed old nudge code noted by JP.
- Made some small changes to switch position so right ramp make should only now be triggered when the ball is in the ramps "safe" zone. (This should fix the erroneous damsel award).
I absolutely love this table I somehow cannot hear any of the sounds though if any of you guys found out whats wrong but I am new to this but am absoultely loving this table that you've created great work

Figured out the issue with the sound for me I had to press the end key then use the 8 & 9 keys (not on the num pad) to turn up and down the volume thanks again for making such an awesome table

Started Medieval Madness_Redux_2.3 in gameplay error message

If ball goes In marked arrow white activate multiball even not doing any correct act in gameplay enable multiball.
Balls comes exactly where is the arrow blue. Balls has graphics issues.
In few seconds the Visual Pinball crash.

Some issues with the physics and the castle... Often it seems that when I hit the castle and castle ball lock, they didn't count (no "ball locked" or "lock lit" and no "X hits to damage gate" or something), and when I held up the flipper to catch a ball coming down to try to hold it, it bounced off crazily in another direction. The colouring and lighting is really good though.
Would this be fixed if i play it on VPX.6 instead? I've seen several tables' problems go away by using that.

Not sure if it is just mine, but the default settings I got with this table make the table play nothing like an original MM. The pinball absolutely rockets around the playfeild in this, and the flippers launch the ball with far too much force, I was trapping the ball on the end of my flipper and with the ball vitually at a stop at the end of my flipper, I could flip with enough force to launch the ball up around the damsel ramp at speed.
I've owned an MM previously and have fond memories of how it played. And mine was in very very good condition.
Also, the playfield was very dark.
Absolutely Perfect Table, love it runs the Profanity Rom, but the Lights are a little Bright especially on the Ball.

Yes i have the same. The ball light shining is almost white so bright it is.
