Download Krull (Gottlieb 1983) FS VP9.9 1.3

Krull Gottlieb FS

This is Krull by Gottlieb, Full Screen edition.
I joined forces with kevinleedrum, who made a breathtaking redraw of the 3 playfields, collected all sorts of information about the table and sorted out the solenoid and lamp specifications.
The indepth photo documentation, made by Chris Hutchins, was a great help as other sources of information about Krull have been very limited.
There is an option to show a lit fresnel lens above the lower playfield while it is active, if You like it close to the original. For the release version the lower playfield is fully visible, if active.
The flipper, slingshot and bumper sounds are recorded from a gameplay video of Krull.
Arngrim again provided the DOF code. Thanks for this. You can choose between the different settings at the top of the script.
If You want to go for the Extra Ball on the lower PF, set the Novelty property within the DIP switch settings (F6) to "normal". Otherwise You will earn 100.000 points instead.
We hope, You enjoy the table, as much as we do.
Have fun and please use the support topic to post any findings and suggestions.

What's New in Version 1.3 (See full changelog)
- 1.3:
- corrected lower PF target number to register hits
- corrected flippers staying up on level change (found by Hysteric)
- corrected vanishing ball on ramps (found by Hysteric)
- changed table physics settings
- changed flipper settings (strength, speed)
- added kodiac's flipper primitives
- added primitives for rollover switches, posts and screws
i dont have any problems with physics, the table plays really nice.
Apparantly, only 10 of these were ever made, as it got cancelled before going into production. all of you have done a spectacular job of reproducing what is a very rare machine.
thank you
Great Table ( like all your other ones ), Thank you , but I'm with st3m on ball physics, they are less than desirable on this table. A Physmod 5 version would be Awesome. Cheers
Hi,
I changed the ball and table settings a bit with version 1.3, now I do like them more than before. I think I will give the table an uplift when VP10 or an intermediate official Physmod version of VP is availiable.
I am no great fan of adjusting tables to development versions. That said, I have to go back to some new tables...
Regards
Michael
This table is so fantastic, very nice update. They used the perfect sounds in this one, reminds me of being a kid. The multiple playfields are great and the graphics are incredibly clean.
Thank you for this table. Put up 2MIL+ on it today and it was a complete blast to play

I just tried this table & the backglass on a 2 monitor setup. It's really a good game!
On the backglass the letters "B" and "E" from the word BEAST are always lit up, & none of the other letters are. I have no idea what controls the letters and cannot find any instructions. Apparently the IPDB has deleted them.
I'm presuming hitting different targets controls the lights, but those two letters are on from the start of a game. Maybe that's normal, I don't know. But any instructions on what controls the letters would be appreciated.
Thanks.
thank you.

THANK YOU, neat table, I've never seen this pin. The only problem so far is that someone needs to fix the ball physics. It's like the ball is a mushy piece of rubber and yes I'm using 9.9.0.
