There was very little info with the post so not sure if it's a real DMD or not.

Nice to see them catering to cabinet users though with at least the ability to have a DMD on a different screen and a back glass.

You can see the VirtuaPin logo on the side of the cab in the back. I would have liked to see more of the playfield though.

All I really care about is whether it supports some kind of I/O to a device that can drive contactors and flashers.

I can't play virtual pinball anymore without these :)

I wish the video was longer and showed more gameplay, like nudging etc.  It would have been nice also if Farsight mentioned certain features like that the analog plunger kits (built into virtual pin cabinets or purchased separately) with nudge capability would work.

Here's a post from Mike Reitmeyer who is one of the main programmers on TPA (from their fan forums):

I got the d&d working with pin DMD. Also hooked up plunger kit and Shake nudge. Although ST:TNG doesn't really show off the plunger, it should work on other tables. This won't be ready for PC launch, I had to do some hacks to get one table working, since I didn't have much time to get it working. It was also a bit hard to setup without the cabinet here to test how it looked. That'll be changing really soon.

The guys at virtual pin and pinDMD were really helpful in getting this up so quickly.

I replied and asked him about supporting a third screen as the DMD and about eventually adding support for contactors, LEDs, knocker, shaker, etc.  so we'll see what he has to say!

Be cool to have dual stage control as well.
