There are a couple of examples that have made it to the USA
but unless you are a Star Wars fan, it is not worht the trouble, the game is not very good

Yes I am a classic Star Wars fan, and I think its good.

I mean if you just look at the playfield the game is basically Firepower with a couple extra flippers, and Firepower is great. I play the VP8 of Empire quite a bit.

Some authors tweek the game to make it more playable
THe real ESB has weak flippers
Some targets cannot be made without a lucky bounce from the ball
It is very wide and it weighs a ton

firepower has multiball feature and speech

Yeah, it is pretty basic and the flippers are poor.
And it does weigh a ton, measuring in at 28.5 " wide, same width as backbox.
Is hard to play, when its going, and parts are scarce.

Am from Newcastle, so I played them when they were new and were alot better back in the 80's

Either way.... I don't give a ****. I'm excited for this, and the fact that you guys can't talk about anything about how bad the table is, makes me wonder why TAB would even do this for any of us.

Seriously wtf.

Dont get me wrong, I cant wait either.

Doesnt change the fact that they have problems, all Hankins do,

but playing VP version should fix all that.

A remake of shark would be nice also.

Yeah, I like Shark as well, probably more then Empire. There is only one Hankin table that I did not like and I forget the name of it but it had a guy with a moustache I think as the backglass and it was pretty scary wink.gif

oh yes it was Howzat I believe.
