I promised you guys contests in July, and I got really busy with other stuff, and it didn't go as planned. Well, we are going to do them THIS month, instead.

This month, we have the following ...

• Jigsaw Puzzle Contests (2) - Each day, I will remove one piece. The object is to try to figure out what is beneath the blank puzzle pieces. See example link. Winner(s) receive a $15 gift voucher in the VPF Store.
  
• Pinball Music Quiz (1) - 10 snippets of pinball music. Name the tables from which they come. (Thanks, McD!) Winner receives a $15 gift voucher in the VPF Store.
  
• Original Table Contest (1) - Teams of 2-4 create a table throughout the month of August. Deadline is 11:59PM EST August 31st. Get your teams together! Winners receive a $25 gift voucher in the VPF Store.
  
• VP 9 Logo contest (1) - Develop the best-looking VP9 Logo you can to be used in our Downloads Section. Winner receives a $15 gift voucher in the VPF Store.
  
• Newsletter Article Contest - Write an article for our Newsletter. It will be published this month. Winner receives a $15 gift voucher in the VPF Store.

Rules for each contest will be posted in their respective topics.

This should be an exciting month! Is there any estimated time when the individual topics will be open? I am very interested in a few of those contests.

I need a scriptor for my origional table, Surgical R1... Graphics are just about done, rule set is done... Just wrapping up the voice overs.. If someone wants to take on the code, I am sure we can be done in time..

It is a FP table btw)

Sorry, dude, but the table has to be started AFTER registration.

We aren't expecting perfection on these. We .. well, I ... want to see what teams come up with when they have a deadline to meet. Just be sure to get an unemployed guy on your team!

I will join up if you guys are interested in forming a team. My skills are across all aspects of the table creation process, but I do not excel in one particular area. I have had steady original creation practice since 2006 but am not at the point yet where I can do it all on my own.

depends on what you mean by yourself! ALL my tables are my own design, a few of the earlier ones I had help with from people here. Hell, even now if anyone has problem, just post it, and someone here will see it and help ya! After a while I learned enough to make my own tables. But each one (and I ONLY make originals so some of them are a bit odd) are utterly and completely my own EXCEPT a wip (short for Work In Progress) I am currently involved with for a contest! that one is being built by four of us, and I have and am currently helping other build theirs too. Does this answer your question?
