I started this wip quite some time ago and its relatively advanced,
table design is complete although i'd still like to make the lights look better,
a fair bit of the scripting is done - some sounds and music are also integrated.

The table actually plays quite well, most components are working as they should
and the physics are surprisingly working nicely, but there is still a fair bit to do to get it fully complete,
some of the code will need rewriting as it got slightly complicated using lots of timers etc.
and needs streamlining and finishing off. Notably the scoring and lighting system need a lot of work.

After the release of FP 1.9 the table "broke" and I thought i'd never see it again,
but after much investigation I narrowed the problem down to some corrupt .tga files which have now been replaced
and the table is working fine again dblthumb.gif

I am currently working on an original wip and don't have the time to spend getting this up to scratch,
if anyone wants to contribute and try to get this finished they are welcome and we will share the credits.
Please get in touch if you fancy the challenge.

Here's a couple of screenshots of it:

Here's a link to the file itself - feel free to give it a try regardless:

That looks absolutely beautiful! I hope someone has the time to help you complete it.

Cheers Rawd - FP certainly shines when it comes to realistic graphics,
well there are plenty of talented guys here - maybe someone will be up for it.
Please give it a look - its quite pretty "in the flesh" smile.gif

Just checked it out. It really is a very nice piece of work.

I love the cookie cutter texture reflection off of your clear plastics. The physics seems to play great.

I suppose one of the good things about this particular table design is all the plastic covers and metal rails keeping the ball in place,
so i's not so prone to aerial acrobatics biggrin.gif I didn't need to adjust the design at all from the original.
All the best, Ian.

So I found a thread to finally bring me out of the shadows. rolleyes.gif
No news in a whole year? One of my favorite tables, dammit. I hope nobody minds if I think this deserves a bump. I'm thoroughly enjoying JP's VP9 version, but would be thrilled to see this FP project completed.

No, I haven't done anything more on it sadly, I've been busy making Doctor Who for FP amongst other things.
I did load up the table recently and gave the script a look over but it uses a lot of the Propst pinball script classes by Larsboy, which to be honest I can't actually remember how to use anymore!
I might get round to rewriting it once Dr Who is out of the way, but it probably won't be anytime soon.
The offer is still open if anyone else wants to finish it off...
