It is with great sadness that I bring this news to you today ...

I received the following PM on June 12 ...

QUOTE
I am Sean's fiancee or at least I used to be as he died in a car wreck earlier this past week. ... Would you please convey this message and that I may in the coming days post a message to the community whether it be under my account or this one. I have been trying to contact everyone he has known in his short lifetime to let them know of this tragedy.

Farewell, buddy. May your quarters never run out in that big arcade in the sky...

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. The kids and I are dealing with everything as it comes. The funeral will be this afternoon and since no one has really slept much the past week we will be relieved when it is over.

I cannot tell you all how many times Sean was on this site....it seemd like everytime I turned around he was reading posts or even wirting one or downloading a new game to play. He had even started working on his first table 3 days before his death and wanted me to help with the design of it. He had finally decided he was going to finally do it no matter much it frustrated him. Mainly because he wanted to be counted as a contribution and not someone who sits on the sidelines. He kept waiting for someone to make his favorite game for the program that runs the games but no one I guess was interested in doing it. He talked about pinball a lot and of the friends he made on here.

There were many sides to Sean that most never saw. The side I saw was his caring nature toward people especially kids. The fact that he didn't mind putting his own wants and needs aside for someone else if it was more important. As you know he had some health issues in the past that radically changed his behavior for a short time. He was upset for many days when he realized that he hurt his friends because he couldn't control his temper. Believe it or not I think it made him a better person because afterwards he realized just how short life was and how nothing should be taken for granted. He loved this community and he loved the game of pinball. I'm taking all of pinball files and putting them on DVD so they will never be lost. My boys are going to be pall bearers and my daughter is going to sing his favorite song. After the funeral we are having a party as this was something Sean always said he wanted. He never liked people being sad or crying he wanted everyone to enjoy life.

In closing I ask that you keep this community going. I am thinking about trying to understand it so I may pop in and see what goes on around here from time to time although, I will be under my own account as this one would be to strange to keep going with. Best of luck to everyone in the future.

I know your pain as my brother died under similar circumstances during Christmas of 1991. My deepest condolences to your family in this trying time.
