We have BIG plans ahead for a very special month in July. All month, we will be honoring pinball's past, present, and future legends! The celebration will include Legends of Pinball in our chatroom, tournaments, games, contests, and prizes!

Originally planned for May, then moved to June, our 'Pinball Forever' celebration is now scheduled to take place annually in the month of July.

The reason for the change is simple ... the various features required to make this a special event are just not ready to our level of satisfaction. We refuse to do anything, unless it's done right! July will bring many great changes and additions to our board for everyone to enjoy!


So, if you have any ideas or comments, feel free to post them. I will update this post throughout the month to keep everyone updated on the who's and what's for the entire month of July.



Update:

Final preparations are being made to conduct VPF's first ever online tournament. While we don't expect perfection the first run through, we anticipate a lot of fun for everyone involved. This has been months and months in the making with many obstacles hindering its progress. It is our hope to hold our very first tournament by month's end. It'll be well worth the wait!

Several of pinball history's greatest legends will be joining us in our chatroom's latest stage of development. We now have audio and video for just such an occasion.

Expected to join us this month: Steve Ritchie, Roger Sharpe, Lonnie Mihin, Larry DeMar, and Greg Freres, as well as Randy Davis himself!

July... great! My birthday month! This way I'll be sure to remember it! btw my b'day is July 4th; yeah independence day, woop te do!
having just finished helping Itchigo with BOTH his wip's (hopefully he'll post his second one, actually his first pin but it took forever for me to get all the lights done on the playfield!) up here today (tonight?) I now have more time to peruse the site again ,actually stopping to read posts... and can't wait till July now to see what kinds of goodies you have in store for us!
oh, Any word on those t-shirts yet?

I was a little hesitant to have it in July, considering there may be a low turnout, due to it being summer in most of the countries our members reside.

Glad you guys like the July idea.

You said that there will be a big anual tournament in June. I suppose this year won't happen yet?

We want to ensure there are no bugs ruining CF1's memorial tournament, so yeah, it'll be June 2011 or sooner, even. It doesn't have to be June.

Hi Noah, thanks for all these special events, especially for the chatting sessions...Will you make transcriptions of them to have them in an archive? I don't have much time to follow the sessions and i would love to read the talk in there!
