Next best thing was to contact the owner of that playfield and ask him to take pictures directly in front of it. The perspective of the playfield in that picture is tilted thus making it unusable to apply in a virtual table.

It's nothing that perspective correction can't fix. Higher res would be better though..

Perspective correction would distort the hell of this image causing blur and fuzziness. If the image had a bigger resolution vectorization could be a option!

Wouldn't that be pointless, since these tables are still taboo at this point? wink.gif

This is the best I could come up with given the images Noah had. If someone has some nicer quality images, I'd be happy to merge a playfield for this... I was even thinking this table could use a VP only version... "Spiderman-esque" smile.gif

Just a heads up I'm working on a FP table of Shrek, so I guess now a Family Guy one as well.
Its my first table so progress will be slow.
I'll let the experts try a VP one.

BTW would love some Images of the plastics/mini playfields.

Just tried the FG PF with my shrek WIP. I had to move all my light slightly, but it looks great.
Will start a WIP thread when I have a bit more to show. (Its just a playfield with flashing light and a few popups and switches.)

Looking forward to seeing more. Are you going to extract the sounds from the rom somehow? I can only imagine the amount of work this would take to emulate the rom and DMD for these tables.

Haven't a clue at the moment. Its my first table using FP or any editor for that matter, but It seems to be going well so far. I will start a WIP thread soon, and we
can discuss all this then. wink.gif

Don't take offence to this, but if this is your first table, you may want to start with something with a bit simpler rule set. These tables may discourage you when you get to the coding and DMD animations.

I did think about that but I do have some experience of coding and what I've seen so far makes sense to me. But what the hey in at the deep end and all that.
