Anyone using this particular one from Arcade Xpress .. and is it really preconfigured and assembled as ´plug-and-play´?

Thanks in advance for your input / response,

works,

but it's ways overpriced in my opinion...

it is a shop, they need to pay taxes and employees and such, but c'mon, hardware all together is not more then 35 eur, 40 at max.

Thanks for your input Suikazz ..

I agree.

But you also get the ease of a complete working package that makes it attractive.

I wouldn´t know (at this moment) which components to buy seperately and where .. ;)

Cheers,

FD.

Well, the picture acutally already shows it ;)

-Raspberry Pico 2040 or 2350 (Pico 2)

-mma8451 or LIS3DH or any other supported accelerometer module

-10kOhm linear 100mm potentiometer

-some breadboard wires and finally:

pinscape pico firmware from here: https://github.com/mjrgh/PinscapePico

thats basically it

EDIT:

You'll probably also want a better ADC then the internal of the RP Pico, like the ADS1115 :)

The Bally/Williams style ball plunger (sold by Suzo Happs) is an all-metal unit.  Totally legit.  The kit offers wiring for the buttons and plunger, making this project easier.  The MMA8451 is a high performance 14 bit accelerometer.  This is about as good as you can get for a Pinscape Pico.   There are accommodations for 18 button inputs.   The accelerometer and Pico and cleverly packaged in a 3D printed mount.  However, the price is steep.

As a shameless plug, I too offer a full solution with much more features, but at a much lower price.  What I need to do is make a package deal like this.

Rickey
