Hello everyone...New member here and longtime Virtual Pinball lover.

I own a Chinese Alibaba Virtual Pinball plug/play cabinet for over 8 years.

After an estimate of 5000 hours of play, it's been over 4-5 months since i powered on last, as I have arrived with my first software problem.

I power on...Once I receive the Chinese symbols on the play monitor/DMD/and back screen, it normally loads Windows, then after a minute or so, the build-in front loader displays and I am ready to play. Now, I can't get through this first step after the symbol displays, the screen simply goes black after 10 seconds.

All the wires, plugs, VGA cords, fans, amp, and power supply/cords are functioning fine, so i am 99% assuming it is strictly a software issue.

I am ready to plug in a keyboard and mouse into the USB port for the first time. Does anyone know any specific "hot keys", I can press to try to RESET the program? Or am I simply locked out forever ?

Any advice or tricks would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

Maybe some more experienced-users here do, but I have no idea what hardware is inside one of those.

So my answer is same as here:

That’s a tricky situation sounds like your Alibaba plug-and-play virtual pinball cabinet is hitting a software block right at startup. The fact that all hardware (wiring, display, power) looks okay suggests it’s probably a corrupted firmware or loader issue. Maybe someone on here has seen a “hotkey reset” or recovery mode for these Chinese units. Hopefully someone chimes in with a step-by-step fix soon.
