Ok, I just came back to Future Pinball after years away. After several hours of painstakingly installing all of the files, from BAM, to tables, making sure my Primary monitor was set to Playfield, the works. After all that I was finally play the awesome tables, Jaws, PotC and so on. After a week, I have come back and WOOZY, everything is all messed up. I have a simple two screen setup. When I played, I never used my second screen for anything, just had my screen 1 set as my playfield with my native resolution. However, EVERYTIME I started a table, the game would revert to a blown-up table, on my SECOND screen. When I checked the FP Video / Rendering Options it keeps showing \\DISPLAY2, my secondary screen. What gives? What am I missing. I have Googled this issue and have found NO answers so I PRAY someone here can help me point out something really stupid I'm missing. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I'd like to help but I only have a single monitor on my PC. I don't have any experience with 2 monitors.

All I can suggest is to click on the "Help" pull down menu in the editor and click on "Open Manual".  Then search for "Video and Rendering Options".

Normally if this kind of thing happens, its because you may not have had all your monitors turned on before powering on your PC, or if your shutdown was a Hibernate or Sleep.... which can result in Windows getting confused with monitor IDs when you boot up... which can confuse apps like FP which can use more than one display.

It's always best to make sure your monitors are powered on FIRST, then do a clean boot of Windows.

If you have not done so, I recommend installing the latest FP and BAM Essentials AIO package (follow the included install guide), which not only gets you up to date, but also has my guides and also some helpful tools and apps for this kind of thing.

In the "Tools and other Apps" folder there is a "Reset Monitor IDs" bat file that may be able to help. Try running it, reboot your PC.

Then run "Start FP - Desktop.bat" to start FP and test. If the problem is still there, check your FP settings and try change the display ID to whatever numbers works correctly.
